An easy way to help fix toxicity

I feel as though an easy measure which would help reduce toxicity in league of legends is if there was a working means by which to make it so you don't see enemy emotes. Currently the one that exists does not work. It prevents the full showing of emotes but people rarely if every show a full emote. They bm by spamming the same emote or mastery over and over again. I feel by having a working function that prevent it from showing at all would help reduce toxicity. Thoughts?

To mitigate verbal toxicity, Riot needs to go on a covert operation and focus on the root cause: Trolls, Feeders, and AFKers.

Players have full control over text based communication and even emotes. It's called the mute button.

Players, however, do not have control over other player's actions during pre-game Champ Select and in game.

If Riot focuses on pre-game and in-game player behavior, League of Legends and its community would be at a healthier state, believe me.

Press tab to open up the Scoreboard, and next to the player's name there are mute options for chat, emotes, and pings. This will hide Mastery emotes too.
