Riot please do something about trolls

I've been trying to climb in ranked lately and i've been getting trolls. Not people who are doing bad. People who say THEY ARE GOING TO TROLL at the champion select. I think riot needs to have an ip ban system and perma ban these people. This shit keeps happening and its fucking ridiculous that you don't seem to be doing anything to combat it. This is the reason your player base is declining. You don't punish those who do shit like this. Or you only ban their secondary accounts where they're trolling. You need to make these bans ip bans in addition to account bans.

When I reboot my Comcast modem I get a new IP every time, by changing the MAC address on my router. Takes less than 5 minutes for a new IP, and ill never get the same one again. Now an innocent unlucky player cannot login, and support has to deal with it.

From what source do people get the idea that an IP address somehow follows a person for life, or even more than 20 minutes?

Hey just so you know it is kinda hard to detect trolls... and you under estimate the amount of BAD someone can be have you seen low elo? tho people think everyones trolling no matter what.. like unless they deliberately say they are trolling.. or DO something thats clear about trolling then thats an exception... it just depends on your circumstances ... like the other day i had gone into a normals.. and yes even tho its a normals i was called out for Trolling when i went mid annie and built an abyssal mask against a galeo.. note i dont play mid or never played against galeo so i went with an item i thought would be fine.. and yet im told im trolling....

Now keep in mind your silver and playing in silver mmr.. and thats a melting pot of Bronze, silver, and golds,and unranked players and most people in silver are average/below average players who really dont put alot of time and research into the game... So do keep in mind your going to encounter alot of extremely bad players who you may think are trolling.. but are not

Maybe instead of an IP ban, it should be that accounts must be linked to your Facebook profile. I don't have an issue with this idea, but I'm sure trolls definitely would.

They need to take the report system more seriously and put a larger scale ban on those reported for afk while in game, dc mid game, and obvious throws. This community is so toxic and is the reason why people want to stop playing. No one cares about this reward system they have for good behavior and they don't notice it bc they don't care but to take our money.

IP bans cause collateral damage and are easily evaded.

They don't know how to. Plain and simple. So they just ban players who say bad words because it's easier for the system to pick up. IFS can't tell bad game from "I'm going to ruin your game" unless it's really blatant like stacking tears or mobis but even then, it's inconsistent.

Meh. They need to do more, but i doubt IP bans are a viable option.
