i dare to say that someone messed up the code of the system and now a lot of ppl get banned for no reason. i NEVER saw so many threads in under 12 hours all banned for 3rd party programms.
i really wait on a statement of riot, if one comes.
For 3rd Party Programs, they typically send out the bans in waves.
This makes it more difficult for the software developers (or the users) to identify how Riot detected them so that they can't avoid detection in future versions.
I forget when exactly when the last ban wave for 3rd party programs occurred, but this one would included pretty much every player found to be using them in the time period since.
I'm unsure of the validity of the bans, but for cheating bans, they do them in waves, so that the program's creators don't have time to change what ever Riot is using to catch it

Yes but in this case it seems alot of players who have NOT used a 3rd party program or anything that directly impacts league have been banned as well. Myself included. Unless Skype and Pandora count I'm actually innocent
in this case, i'm leaning toward some kinda error as well. there's a lot of posts about it, which means there's a ridiculous amount of bans since most people don't use the forums

Seems like a general email that they send out after they have banned us. And they dont give us the real reason to how the ban took place. I installed Overwolf about 3 months ago and now im banned. But acording to overwolf the lolwiz loader was approved and helped developed by riot games. So we getting banned because we running this software alongside Leauge Of Legends.
Im really not happy about this and seems like a load of people have been banned recently and think its to do with overwolf.
I really like the way riot can not be more clear on what we have done. Do they even see what the threat is or is it just something not right lets ban them. Money I have spent is gone now. But its ok riot dont ban your ip just the account so you can make a new one and speand more money. Well i wont be doing that. The people who hack and dont spend money or bot accouts for sale there still on the servers laughting.
This is a joke and people should not stand for it.
It's outrageous, I logged on, played a bot game for my daily win, then a couple hours later I was banned for Third Party Programs? Only program I have that edits files is Wooxy for custom skins and the fact that it gives no advantage whatsoever combined with the fact that all I've been playing as of recently is customs with all friends or bot games.
It's a little scary, tbh. Might have to uninstall lolbuilder and either go through the tedious process of creating the itemsets manually or go back to having champion.gg or mobafire up in the background. Mah laziness :c
