I got a 14 day suspension, and a punishment is pretty justifiable, yet not what I expected.

Hey all

I just got banned for 14 days, after a few toxic games. Idk how to post logs from a mobile device, or else I would. I flamed a feeding teammate that flamed me for flaming her (holy flame), and had inappropriate banter before and after games. I never told anyone to "kys" or anything racial or sexist, but I did call people "trash" and "literally shit", and to "stfu". I was definitely toxic.

I had a main account in like 2014 that got perma banned, and recently toxicity has resurfaced. I didn't receive an email from Riot, tho. I guess I'm surprised that the punishment I got as a first offense was a 14 day ban. Is this normal?

if you had no other punishments on this account then there are only a few reasons why you mught jump right to a 14-day suspension

  • Use of a Zero-Tolerance word/phrase (things like racism, homophobia, or encouraging self harm)
  • Gameplay related offenses (Intentionally feeding and the like)
  • a VERY, VERY egregious chat log and a history of such behavior
