The irony of /mute all is...

...that you can't report toxic behavior because you won't notice it. However, just because you wont' notice doesn't mean that its there and these toxic players still exist. Lets think of a better system, shall we?

Usually you mute people after they've started being toxic, those who use /mute all as soon as the game starts are usually those who can't handle flamer, they do it to prevent themselves from replying.

All it takes is 1 report to flag the system for review. 1 report and 4 reports are treated the same.

And if everyone does /mute all then obviously no one can be toxic, because everyone has everyone muted.

So no. The system is fine.

Well no, "mute all" is meant for people who see chat triggers and start flaming like its going out of style. What dissonance you dont see, you dont respond to with worse

Toxic behavior isn't resolved by mute. Feeding isn't mutable.

If someone is verbally harassing people, and they're muted, then there is no violation. Your post suggests that someone swearing at their computer at home needs to be dealt with. It's perfectly fine to call someone an idiot outloud. Its the hearing of the insult that's the problem.
