Racism doesn't warrant a punishment?

So i had a game the other day where my ADC Jinx starts calling my support and the rest of our team N***ers and was toxic all game yet once the match was over and i believe 4 of us reported her, I never got any notification of the player being punished. Why is she allowed to keep playing after being so horrible in chat to other players?

Edit: lol i dunno why people are downvoting this, probably just read the title then downvoted it. I instantly got notification on another person i reported later who was not using hate speech but was just very toxic.

Racism is definitely something that results in an escalated punishment. However, you won't always receive a notification when someone you report is punished, you only receive it when your report was the last one and triggered the punishment, and not every report will instantly result in a punishment. So just because someone you reported wasn't instantly punished after that particular match doesn't mean that they won't be punished after a future match, and if they are, you won't receive a notification for it.

well i think it's a bit dumb that the person is still playing now even though riot said they will not tolerate racism at all.

i am muslim and every day i got racism and i report them and they never ban him I just wonder what reports do?

Depends on the type of report. Racism is not punished as severely or often as say AFK.

Last week I played and I had to support a soab with a yihaidist name. Reported him, he's still playing and with the same name.

Muslim is not a race, btw, you can shit all over islam without being razist.

Appart from that, I doubt riot gives a fck. They have their automated system, and just dont care, they trust it will work and if it doesnt, they give 0 fucks.

I got 2-week ban for saying "report janna she called me a %%%%%%,

after the ban, I had a game where I died to a kid and he said "thanks %%%%%%", and I reported him and nothing happened to him

Actually it tends to cause a ban incredibly fast. I am surprised this game actually didn't get him banned yet as i have seen post where racism seems to be the only reason why people got banned.

yeah i just looked up their account to see if they're still active, we reported her for that 5 days ago, she has been playing everyday since

The notification doesnt always pop up. Racism in any way usually leads to a quick perma dont worry.

hmm i usually always get notifications though, cause had an ezreal recently where 3 of us reported him for his toxicity and got the notification about 5-10 mins later.

To the best of my knowledge it does help to punish, however it seems too far out or just "racking up" the reports before taking action.

Or people found ways to trick the system a bit to go without punishment a bit longer.

You have no right to know the disciplinary actions taken against others. It is Riot's strict privacy policy and community building policy to promote reform rather than ostracizing those who make mistakes to the point of leaving.

You have no idea if the person has a chat ban or got a temp ban or a warning because you have no right to know.

This is why you are getting downvotes.
