Afk and frequent leaver balance

Without creating a prisoner's island, what if we had matchmaking pair a frequent afker against another frequent afker. So 4 people that almost never afk on each team, and finally that one guy that seems to always disconnect or whatever on both teams? Yea, no? Tell me why this won't work so I can come up with more than the base idea. Thanks guys. I also figured this should be in player behavior since afking is a behavior.

by doing this you throw innocent people into prisoners island... afks shouldn't be in game to begin with

Well it's like evening the statistical odds for both sides to have an afk. Although the different roles matter too. :/ It's really not easy.

I've seen Heroes of The Storm do this (and before you say anything) it doesn't work all too well. In the end, you do get to look at your skin collection while you queue, but the actual queue time can be very inconsistent (you won't find a completely afk-er game anytime soon), and the required games can affect it in either a negative or positive light. My point is that this system can be really polarizing.

As it stands right now I think the ranked system is a bit misleading. When I first started playing I thought gold was good, but after playing for a while the pyramid structure seems much more jarring than perception allows us to see. Bronze and silver contain such a large part of the playerbase and I think that is an issue not in the structure itself but in the mentality. That being said, it seems that frequent leaving is an issue that will never really be addressed appropriately and it honestly sucks a lot of the fun I'd be having in games, even while losing. The only other thing that I've had to deal with is players in my last couple of games going above 13 deaths with only 1 kill or assist and no tower damage, which really tilts both me and the scale.
