Kick players in champion select

This happens a lot, but this is my most recent experience with this problem.

So the team locks in their positions, no problem. The only role left was support. We had a Diana go jungle, but this guy also wanted jungle. He basically started threatening to feed. Our Diana, who had already locked in, offered to go support so this guy could go jungle. This guy decided that this wasn't good enough and started cussing the whole team out. Basically what he said: "I will flip your mom over and **** her twice" "I will kill your dad in his sleep"

And then it never stopped. he eventually locked in Heimerdinger jungle without smite, said "F****** smite, b******"and at that point I didn't want to play with this guy. I ended up dodging, and I know that you can make a case for "oh dodging is bad and you should get punished." But in my opinion, it's better than wasting my time on people like this.

So anyways, I just think that it is necessary to have votes to disband or kick a player before a game starts. Lets say that if there are enough votes to kick a certain player or disband, then the queue is over.

EDIT: So maybe we can reduce the amount of abuse by taking this away from 3 and 4 man pre-mades. Also, since a kick just seems kinda wrong, some people seem to be suggesting a "disband" instead of a flat-out kick.

Man, I'm just worried about the abuse.

Person: "Hey guys, what if instead of ADC+support bot, we did—"

kicked

Bad idea IMO...

With the community we got, it'll turn into a kick-party Every single unusual lane will get kicked by his team. People could even ban champion they do not want to see...

Ex:'Wtf you doing picking Galio?' 'Well it's my main and i'm good with him' 'No Galio is garbage and not in the meta ciao' Proceed to 4 man vote him out.

It's even more dangerous with the 4 man-premade ranked that will happen.

(I took galio as an ex. only because he's not playing much. I actually got nothing against him and even won the only ranked i played him in season 5 hahaha)

I'd be up for a vote to completely disband, which is basically a dodge.

For some reason I feel like kicking would be... wrong.

Maybe if all 4 agree, and even then I'm dubious.

Want to play top lane Taric? Kicked Want to Cho'Gath jungle? Kicked Playing against a Lee Sin? Kicked Full AD Critmacia mid? Kicked Anything off meta? Kicked

A player is being kicked for suggesting an unusual team composition, which is one of many possible abuses of this system.

Players are allowed to choose unpopular and off-meta champions if they want to, as long as they are legitimately trying their best to win the game.

I want to play Lissandra top.

You and your 2 buddies want a tank top, like Maokai because you never bothered to learn how to play non-carries.

You votekick me, I suffer punishment.

It's been 6 years and they haven't came up with a solution yet. " it can be abused". Said a multi-billionaire company. THEN come up with a solution

Take a screenshot when that occurs, Gyazo is a good program to take screenshots, and then contact

https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us Death threats are not to be taken lightly, and if he is traced he will face prosecution for his words.

Why make the system sound be so negative? Just make it a "Vote to Disband" instead of singling out a single player and therefore causing dissension. Otherwise it seems like a decent idea.

I have exactly the same feeling, and exactly the same idea as you. I never understand why dodge is punished, for the most time dodgers are victims

This is not a surprise considering the length of the thread, but a kick feature in this game would be horribly abused.

Blizzard first implemented a kick feature in to World of Warcraft with the pure intent of allowing players to remove unhelpful or abusive players. Such as those who pulled groups indiscriminately, caused group disruptions, or other such annoyances. What did the community do with the kick feature? They used it to kick people for stupid reasons. Got two hunters? Kick one. "That guy has Stamina on his shield." KICK! "I don't want him rolling on my bow." KICK! "That player has too much gold!" KICK!!

Do you think League of Legend's community would do any better with such a feature? If so, I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you.
