Taking kills from intentional feeders should be punished

People who know someone is running it down yet still take the kills should be punished. They are just as bad as the inter for contributing to this problem. If people stop taking kills from raging intentional feeders, it won't happen anymore because the player wouldn't get what they want.

It is well within the rules of sportsmanship to exploit all weaknesses demonstrated by the opponent, and it is unreasonable to put the burden of interpreting intent on the opposing team.

While I appreciate your idea on denying inters their motivation, players are supposed to help their own team win. If that mean keeping the other team at an effective 4v5, that's what I'm going to do.

I'll take the kills, report the inter after the game, and wait a few minutes before jumping into the next one to reduce the likelihood of running into him again.

How are the opponents doing something punishable for just playing the game out normally? And what is the motivation for the griefer? And if someone wants to grief, how will a gentleman's "don't kill X hes griefing" destroy motivation to grief if being down one man or troll usage of abilities can still hurt the team?

But if I don't kill them, they'll just split push me to death.

No, they shouldn't, and no, they aren't. They're still bad to some degree, but not for the reason you stated.

They're bad because of employing underhanded tactics/taking underhanded opportunities to win the game. Not because they're "contributing to the griefer".

If people stop taking kills from raging intentional feeders, it won't happen anymore because the player wouldn't get what they want.

That's not how it would work at all. If someone starts running down lane, they're doing it exclusively to fuck over their team, and regardless of whether or not someone tags them and claims the kill, they're still going to achieve their goal by making the match a 4v5. If people stop taking kills from raging intentional feeders, the feeders are still going to run down mid, because what they want is to ruin their team's chances of success.

It doesn't matter if they get executed by minions/turrets or killed by enemy Champions, their goal is simply to throw their Champion down a lane and watch them die.

It's fine to frown on underhanded gameplay, but don't equate it to being the same as trolling.

Your opponent's goal is to kill your teammates, allowing themselves and their teammates more pressure to secure objectives, and ultimately the nexus. Eventually, the bounty value gained from killing an intentionally feeding player is going to diminish to the point where they offer as much gold as a siege minion.

They are not doing anything wrong, the feeder is.

No, what would happen is rather than right-clicking somewhere behind the towers inters would simply right-click an enemy champion. Because nobody can be expected to refuse to attack a champion that is attacking them; and I doubt anybody would. Generally, all they have to do is pose a mild threat to the enemy so that not killing them would be irresponsible to their own team.

Besides, they get what they want either way. What they want is simply to sabotage their own team. It doesn't really matter much to somebody like that whether the enemy actually gets the kill. Being close enough to an enemy for them to get the XP is going to be good enough. Hell, just them turning the game into a 4v5 will be enough in most cases.

Edit: Just to be clear: I do believe actively encouraging inters should be considered unsportsmanlike and thus punishable. I simply don't believe that taking those kills can really be considered an act of encouragement.

This makes 0 sense what so ever. You don't punish the players who are just playing the game and killing the inter. It's not their fault that person is inting. They are literally just playing the game. That's like saying if you purposely gave me $300 then you're allowed to call the cops on me for stealing. Like what???? You gave me the $300 in the first place I shouldn't be punished for just accepting the offer?
