So I type /mute all. Then I don't care to type anything at all anymore.

I mean, sure, but the second I see someone admit that they did that command in my games, I report them for refusing to communicate, because technically, you are.

lol what? chat text is NOt a reliable way to communicate. if a lot of things happen, people won't see it at all. if too much chatting goes on, people ignore it. some people mute all on principal. some people are chat banned from being toxic. Sometimes people are too focussed on their lane to even notice that there is chat going on.

Use your pings. that is how to communicate.

There are things that you can't convey in pinging alone. I never said chatting was the best way - but it is a form of communication. Muting all is a form of refusing to do so.
