I'm just waiting for a game to load.

Our autofilled support just locked Zed and goes to lane with me. I'm for instant permaban for people like there are. Who's with me?

Edit: I GOT THE MID. That's the issue. Not that he would pick Zed support. He said: "I go mid, I won't play support because fuck you. What can you do with that?" Then he went to my lane and completely stole first two waves, then went bot after the whole team flamed him. Thanks for your attention.

End game lobby ---> report for griefing, assisting the enemy team, write in the additional comments that he ignored his autofilled lane, trolled the team and specifically put that he was filled to support but did not go to bot lane, did not support team, etc... submit report.

Incidentally, I've seen Zed support, and it can actually work. It's quite nasty post-6 if the guy knows how to play the early levels. But he would still need to serve as a support early on, and either get a relic shield for gold income, or ancient coin for the healing and gold.

I did this, you bet it get's ignored.

I don't care about his pick as long as he doesn't go to my lane and does not fuck it up. Which he did. He went to bot after a while, but he managed to tilt the whole team and prepared a rough start for me because how can Azir take away CS from Zed?

One single report for this kind of behavior doesn't result in punishment. But if the guy is doing it consistently, then the reports will add up, and he WILL be punished for it. All you can do is report him (just like you did) and hope that it helps keep someone else from having to deal with him in the future.

It's not that your report is ignored. The automated system doesn't ignore any reports. It can't ignore them. It is 10000% more efficient than a human being at reviewing reports; it goes through logs faster, has absolutely no bias towards certain players/ranks/champions and holds every single player to the exact same standards. But in making the system that efficient, Riot made certain that it doesn't punish people over-quickly. So it does wait for a certain threshold of reports to be received before it issues punishment. And it may take more than one or two games of a player acting like this Zed before someone gets a punishment. But it doesn't mean that they won't be punished for doing this. His actions are deliberately ruining the game for other players, which is part of the essence of what Riot tries to protect with the Terms of Use and Code of Conduct.

We won after I Azirseced enemy Lissandra and Heca, got doublekill off of that 1v2 and Liss AFKed. :) Can provide a footage I you don't trust me. That still doesn't purify Zed's behaviour. :)

No, you can't. It's riot's fault for adding this new draft system, people have free choice to simply not obey the meta, or ingame assignments.

People have the free choice to play the blind pick then. You could have a point if the rest of my team agreed with it. Which they did not. This still is a Riot's video game, not Zed's and as long as it will be, they can decide what they want. And from what I've heard they DON'T want to have people upset their teammates by supporting unconventional tactics which they don't agree with, see the Singed support affair - or will we have duo standards?

This is the player's game, made by riot. Same with any game company. The players make the game what it is. There are rules set up, but only when enforced do they mean anything. Also, double standards is nothing new for riot.

And the main rule of the Draft pick is (unless you come to an agreement with your teammates) to play in you role. If you don't like it, play the Blind pick or don't play at all.

This is a player's game

And majority of the players in that game expected, wanted to and were promised by Riot's Draft pick that their teammates will play in their role.

Agreed. They need to remove autofill immediately. You pick your role and wait your time. Get the role you want. Period, the end. Attempting to manipulate or force anyone to do anything (aside from not being negative) is just a failure on a fundamental level and against their own philosophies that have guided RIOT thus far. It's amazing we have to endure such failed concepts for such a long duration because RIOT's ego doesn't want to be bruised.

there's very few champs that can't support. zed has cc and free zoning as well as being able to roam to assist other lanes. he isn't exactly meta but i've seen it work.

I'm fairly sure the only champion that would be incapable of support in ANY situation would be Kha'zix. Anything else would be capable of damaging enough or tanking enough or ccing enough or protecting/peeling enough to be capable of supporting. Would it be the best use of each champ? Not likely, could it work? Sure. But I think the autofill needs to be either completely enforced (not desireable but effective) or removed entirely. The current state of affairs is a failure on every level. It needs removing in my opinion.

i've done well as zed support before. But I'm a bronzie, so everything is viable in every position. It just requires better game knowledge to do better in bronze games.

Who the fuck cares about his pick? The issue is he went to lane he did not belong to and was toxic in chat, let me quote: "I won't support, I go mid, what can you do with that?" If he kept his mouth shut, picked Zed, went support immediately and did not feed his ass off (which he actually surprisingly didn't), I'd have 0 issues exactly.

It really does seem like most of the people here misunderstood the point behind your post. From the beginning, I never thought you had an issue with him playing Zed, so much as an issue with him deliberately refusing to play support when he was autofilled to it, and then going to mid lane and setting you behind in the early game.
