2 games of "unacceptable comms"...10 game chat restriction. Really RIOT? I guess it is important to protect those who need it out there. Nothing homophobic. Nothing racist. Nothing sexist. Nothing violent. Nothing promoting any of the aforementioned. No crude, and simpleton teenager jokes. Since when is stating facts of the game, and asking the jngler why he/she isnt helping top who is losing lane, toxic? Lol. First time reported. Lose all honor. All rewards. Now I really know what I am dealing with. Utterly pathetic if this is considered toxic. I know we all have bad games, and players have let me have it, but I HAVE NEVER REPORTED SOMEONE FOR CALLING ME OUT! wow. I really feel bad for those players that get off on reporting people for something like this. Kinda sad if you think about it. Telling them the hard truth on the internet hurts them like that? What are they going to do in the real world?....in the words of Mike Tyson, "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

Surprised? Yeh. 10 games? LOL. I am not some righteous, social-justice warrior kiddo. I didn't do tit-for-tat with those kids and their paltry claims of me being "toxic." You only see one side of the conversation. Did I take it upon myself to report them as they continued to harass me? No. I didn't. Their ignominious mechanics and macro were enough to have them banned.

And no, Mike wouldn't punch me in the mouth scrub. Why would I talk trash to the champ? I know he is better than me in that arena. What exactly are you trying to say? Your feeble attempt to try and make a point, or whatever it is you're trying to do, is very lackluster. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything to those scrubs I played with. And I'm sure many players better than me would call me a scrub...or maybe some really pedestrian saying like, oh I dunno, "git gud" or "salty" or "mad cuz bad." People at every rank talk trash to everyone higher and lower elo. Perception is reality, until someone gives you a new one.

Those kids needed a wake-up call. And I gave it to them. As many have done for me. I have become a better player for it. I didn't report people unless they said something that was really out of line. For example, promoting suicide, homophobia, rape, mental disorders, etc. were things that I would report for. And given the demographic of the community, pretty easy to say that was commonplace as most of the players really have a myopic understanding of what exactly they are saying. They consider it a "joke" and funny. What if I just say, "I was joking about it...I didn't mean to tell you that you were a good player and that you really know your champ, I meant to tell you how much you suck." HA HA funny funny. But I didn't call them bad. And now sarcasm is toxic? Where has the humor gone? Where has the humility gone? I usually just respond with "you're right...I am trash...having a bad game...get over it...can you make a suggestion so I don't get caught out over and over and over?" But that is because I am a better player, understand humility, and don't get offended by someone typing my kda" And actually, proof is in the pudding when you see I mention that "I can't land a binding." Interestingly enough, what you don't see, is players harping on that, continuing to remind me of how bad I am and can't even land a binding. Guess what I didn't do, report them. I think your brain is too small for you to be so serious. Don't try to be a tough guy. Just be yourself. And don't try to make some pithy statement about what kind of guy I am for the champ to punch in the mouth. Oh yeah, when I said Snowflakes, it was a question. I'm not sure if they are or not, or what it even means to be one. You however, are making a declaration calling me a snowflake. You're just a big 'ol bully.

Normal people, when they are in control, do not belittle others like you did. Either you lost control, didn't have control to begin with, or there is something legitimately wrong with you.

That isn't a healthy mental practice buckaroo. What if I suggested to you that it is offensive and harassment towards me having to see that score? To be forced to have a negative experience because of their toxic attitude towards their play and teammates. For making no attempt to change their behavior. How is what they do any less harmful to my experience? They directly, and intentionally, create a negative experience for their teammate (me). That is toxic. What are you saying? Simpleton.

You said it yourself. They can see their score. You reminding them of it every 5 seconds and blaming them for doing bad doesn't do anything useful. It doesn't make them suddenly players better. It doesn't make them start getting kills. It doesn't suddenly flip their score around.

All it does is make you feel a little better at the expense of the fun of everyone else in the game. And that's not okay.

It is an unpleasant experience for me when players repeat the same thing over and over and negatively impact the game. THEY ARE BEING UNPLEASANT TEAMMATES. That is toxic. I don't expect wizardry from them, just a sense of team play and improving on current decisions. Nothing I said was harmful. Nor was it productive in your opinion. Personally, when someone reminds me of my score, I may stop to think about my strategy. But the hoi polloi do not. It can't be unpleasant if "/mute." But you can't mute their actions. THEY MATTER. "Sticks and stones..." you remember that one don't you?

It doesn't make me feel better. That is a bit presumptuous. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just hyperbole, which I am sure is also the case when you suggested that I reminded "them of it every 5 seconds." Secondly, you didn't answer my question. Usually it is the case during a parley that dodging questions is an indication of assent.

It was not some diatribe. I was not sardonic. Typing someone's KDA is somehow invective? Sigh. Sad state of affairs. I was simply going along with the mores. Quite innocuous in my opinion. So, please stop trying to use words too big for you to understand. I would suggest going to look up the word poisonous, realize that my horse is bigger than yours, and stick to kick-ball and checkers.

In gaming communities, the phrase "toxic to the community" means behavior that tends to cause disrepute and/or negative experiences for all involved. As such, the word "toxic" here is closer to "poisonous".

Regardless, you can either take our advice and be a decent person to your fellow players, or keep getting punished. Your horse is no bigger than anyone else's horse in this game. You have no superiority over any of your teammates nor enemies. You are all equal.

You have no right to belittle them, demean them, use "facts" to try and make them feel like shit, or do anything else that detracts from their game experience. Maybe if you'd stop doing that you'd find that people would "tilt" less in your games and you'd win.

Stating facts has nothing to do with making "them feel like shit." I don't do it to be malicious.

Also, yesterday I had a game where I apologized to mid, acknowledged that he pinged MIA, and I died because I took too long to retreat. His/her response: "Go f*** yourself you f****** retard....trash ADC...I told you"

I'm sure I could get the chat log if you would like. Did I report him? No. Was he toxic and abusive to me? Yes. But again, my frontal lobe is fully developed. I don't get upset or report players for something so trivial in life. He was right to ping, and he made the right call. What can I say? It is a fact. Is reporting him going to "teach him a lesson?" Absolutely not. Taking away his awards and honors? Absolutely not. Chat restriction? Absolutely not. Banning the account? Absolutely not. All of these things only frustrate the player and instill resentment. Psych 101. Parents put conditions on their kids frequently. Kids rebel; lash out. Create hostility. Resort to conforming only to get what they want, and once they have it, they revert to previous behavior. It is the same reason why Tyler1 continued on and on, until permaban. That is until essentially the community wanted him back so bad, RIOT and Twitch realized he made them too much money, and he was given another chance. However, even though he doesn't type what RIOT deems as "toxic" in chat anymore, everything he does type is intended to provoke and put people down. It is almost always snide or sarcastic, and hardly productive. It is obvious. It is not in jest, and his intentions are clear. But it is a far cry from where he was, and he definitely made serious progress.

The reporting system is broken. It favors people who need to be shielded from the facts. It protects the neophytes. It is completely unbalanced, and punishments handed down by the oligarchs are just absurd. It is exactly why there has been no progress in creating harmony in the community and actually reducing real toxicity. The entire dogma behind it is just plain wrong.

BTW, your continuous attempt at using poisonous as the correct adjective is futile. It is just incorrect. Move on.

I am simply showing that only 2 games of stating facts will get a 10-game chat restriction. It is amazing how sensitive people without fully developed frontal lobes are. Reported for speaking the truth. Reported for stating facts. Reported for stating facts repetitively. Wasn't even an opinion I was giving. I asked why the jungler wasn't helping top who really needed it. I said that I am really bad at Morgana and can't land a binding. I let people know when they were going to die before they did, and simply said "told you." Now, if being right is being toxic, what is this world coming to? Maybe people just don't like being reminded they were wrong. I never called them bad. I never said something so banal like "git gud" or "mad cuz bad" or "you're trash." I never put them down. And some fickle teenagers want to report me for just typing facts? Perplexing.

I am aware of self. I am aware of what self is capable of. I don't understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying that I am inconsiderate of other's feelings? Because I think quite the opposite is true. If I wanted to be inconsiderate, rude, or otherwise condescending, I would've gone on a tangent to something more along the lines of ad hominem, and say all kinds of nasty and disparaging things completely unrelated to the game. But, that would be unkind, unjustified, and just plain crude.

No big deal. I can't fix broken. I can't fix low intelligence. I have accepted this. I can however improve my skill level. RIOT can fix match-making and not allowing low level players (pre-30) into non-bot games or create a test system that shows a "high-skill potential" even at low levels (smurfs) so that the level is irrelevant.

No difference in KDA. But I can tell you the insults to me were there and harsher. I didn't report them, because when they tell me "you're 0-8" what am I supposed to do? "No I am not! You're wrong! LOL. Why would I report them for simply stating a fact? And like I said before, when players handed me the truth, I didn't run and hide from it. I didn't argue with them. I didn't report them. Glass jaws. Getting behind in a game is tough, especially with RIOT's agenda of intentionally creating snowball situations in which it is even more difficult to come back (exhibit A: Cannon creeps now worth even more gold, creating opportunity to get items faster and snowball faster). However, I highly doubt that my bad games were a result of me slamming my head against the wall and expecting a different outcome other than pain. Insanity?

Why do people think every Nasus should have 500 stacks at 30. Was he in a hard match up, do you even know match ups, how many Hanks were there toplane, did your jg gank top Was top a nasus hard counter. Like there’s so many variables to CS on this game that people over look. Sometimes the JG gets countered by mid and JG or JG and support. This getting behind. Sometimes players are less skilled, or their oppenants are much more skilled. Like I play premades with gold players who I know IRL, and I was D1 last season. Sometimes I dumpster my laner and thier team flames them for INT when thier silver 3-4 playing against a D1 I mean I main support for I’m not the best carry but damn like ofc he’s gonna get Rekt bro

I found out the Nasus was a level 19 player. History suggests that it was his first non-bot game. So, clearly learning and there is no problem with that. The problem was continuing to push top lane, regardless of no vision (learning curve) and dying every time. I learned that he/she was part of a premade with "friends" (obviously higher level). Why would higher level players set their friend up like that? They KNEW Nasus would lose badly and did it anyway. Cynical. Furthermore, it is a sign of complete disregard for their teammates and their experience. Selfish.

Yes I know match-ups thank you. I don't remember what his was tbh.
