5 CHAT RESTRICTION 1 GAME FOR DEFENDING MYSELF, WHILE RACIST PLAYERS NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time to get reported in a game and i get a 5 chat restriction? really for defending myself in a game? Every game i am usually always positive and always start off by saying glhf 1 to everyone. But of course we all join a game where they're others that like to be toxic to you for no reason. Almost all my games prior to this have been honored atleast for something and you know WHAT I've been at level 2 honor forever to level up in honor is the biggest load of bull shit i've ever seen in my god damn life. YOU CAN BE HONORED AND POSITIVE EVERY GAME for 500 million games and hardly even get to a god damn check point!!!! But when you are salty in 1 game and that is for defending my self i get a 5 chat restriction and back at honor level 1. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BULL SHIT SYSTEM.

JUST AN EXAMPLE HOW BAD THIS INSTANT FEEDBACK REPORT SYSTEM IS, I JOINED A GAME WITH THREE RACIST PLAYERS IN THE MATCH THEY WERE ALL SAYING NGGER THIS NGGER THAT AND I TOLD THEM I'm GOING TO REPORT THEM FOR BEING RACIST, THEY LAUGHED AT ME AND TOLD ME TO DO SO WHICH I DID, AND YOU KNOW WHAT NOTHING HAPPENED THEY GOT ZERO PUNISHMENT!! YES I HAVE THE CHAT LOG AND THAT GAME SAVED SO WAITING FOR ANY RIOT SUPPORT OR WHATEVER THEY HAVE ON FORUMS TO MESSAGE ME ON THIS POST.

lol if u think the system was that bad just wait until you try to get back to honor level 2, its probably locked atm so you gain no progress towards it whatsoever until it becomes unlocked(100ish games) and then after its unlocked you need to play and get honored frequently for about 8-9 months(600+ games) to get back to honor level 2, lul, enjoy losing your season rewards at the start of the season bud, I'm in the same boat....

If it is taking you 100ish games to unlock your honor, that is a clue that your behavior is still falling below the standards set for the game.

After honor is unlocked, it should take less than three months to regain honor 2. If it's taking longer, that's again a clue that your behavior is below standard.

As for how to regain honor, I've got a summary already written out.

The primary way to get honor is by playing games without being validly reported.

This means that avoiding everything that can be flagged as negative is a good idea. No "pointing out" anyone's KDA or CS. Don't say that you're going to report or mute anyone. When you decide that someone is trolling/griefing, stop interacting with them. Don't blame people for the state of the game.

The second most important way to gain honor is by using chat positively. This can start with simple things like "gl hf" at the beginning and "gg" at the end. More advanced techniques include using chat to help your team win the game. Make plans for the future. "We should get a ward on baron" "Take dragon while they're distracted" "Build XX next for some MR" "focus LeBlanc first next fight" "Hold your ult until after they use their dashes"

While you are doing this, make sure that you're talking about the future. The future can be changed, but the past cannot. "Why didn't you ward baron?" "You should have taken dragon while I had them distracted" "Why did you build XX?" "stop focusing the tank" "stop wasting your ult" Those, while essentially the same message as the prior ones, are flagged as negative because the past can't be changed.

The third most important way to gain honor is the team bonus for everyone honoring someone. This means that it's best for you to honor someone every game. This also helps you to enjoy the game itself more. It focuses our thinking on what went right, and who we enjoyed playing beside the most, instead of focusing on the troll, flamer, or uncooperative person.

The smallest part of gaining honor comes from the individual honors. Focusing on those is a good way to make yourself frustrated.

Your post sounds like you're focusing on the received honors, and are frustrated, as expected of that strategy.

No i actually /mute all at the start of every game, and have done so since december so a report for further toxicity isn't possible, I play udyr though so im probably reported for whatever in 4/5 games because udyr is a very common target for "i'm losing because of you" behavior.

Doesn't matter. Even if you get 9 reports per game, if they are not valid they are the same as 0 reports

i don't know if i necessarily agree with you on this because for the fact that this does happen sometimes I've seen friends getting banned for accidentally so not intentionally being a jerk by saying ggez ggwp, I do know that saying it was easy is punishable which to me is just down right insane!

Making positive chat doesn't contribute to gaining honor more than being silent really. There is no system to pick up positivity other than "Do not get validly reported" and "End-screen honors slightly speed up the process" Unless I am mistaken, I would be happy to learn there is a more intricate mechanism that awards "Good player points"

They should definitely implant a system like that though, all this toxicity everyone is complaining about and or getting banned for is going to eventually lead people to just never talk in a game ever again. If they want people to stop being toxic i think good words and good mannerisms should be a vital point and tracked

My search-fu is weak, so this is the only specific instance I could find this morning. But, it has been stated by Riot that positive contributions help progress honor gain.

Well, are we sure what he meant wasn't this line from honour FaQ? "End-screen honors slightly speed up the process" Because if one exhibits genuine sportsmanship they will surely get an extra honour or 2 along the way. So call me a scepticist on that one until they straight up reveal it.

By the way anyone seen any honour 3 people yet? STRANGE considering the ONLY factor to honor up is NUMBER OF SPORTSMANLIKE GAMES....[sg-lux-2]

You can send support tickets to Riot periodically to ask how your Honor progress is doing. 8-9 months is almost more than triple the standard time. And that is with not getting honored by teammates at all (it doesn't count much anyways) someone got from 0 to level 2 in like 4 months playing 1-2 bot games per day. The most important thing is to NOT BE VALIDLY REPORTED. So I suggest you follow the golden rule for a couple months and see where that gets you. GOLDEN RULE : "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"

It is some bs man, One little game you get reported for and unfairly too is just ludicrous to think that because one game out of hundreds maybe even thousands of games you've played that now you're ruined. like what the hell how is that even remotely fair?

Because usually when you report someone, you will get the instant feed back report system message pop up on your screen. I also checked the persons's profile match history they are still playing which is stupid.

That pop-up is very rare and unreliable and not getting it doesn't mean the player went unpunished. Likewise checking match history is also unreliable as chat restrictions don't stop people from playing.

Yeah doubt that's defending if you got punished. It's pointless to argue with a flamer in League. Don't join them, but instead mute + report them.

Mute, screenshot, repot after game, report directly to player support.

You don't have to defend yourself to random players on the internet, all that is required is that you play the game with full intent to win. Mute anything that isn't positivity.

I agree with you, but just to play a competitive game players are forced into just muting everyone, which is is ridiculous don't you think? Last time I checked i'm pretty sure league was a team-based game haha and look what riot has forced people to do! To mute their team and enemy team just so people can get by without the fear of getting punished and reported!
