sad day when game devs care more about naughty words than people intentionally ruining the game

Be a troll and deliberately ban your teams picks, pick unviable champs and build unviable builds, riot dont care. Say a nasty word and bye bye to league.

Deliberately trying to ruin the game goes unpunished but being rude is the worst sin. It's almost as if they encourage the troll behavior, because the slower you climb, the more you play.

Report people via ticket who openly admit to using 3rd party programs? "We will check into it" Player goes unpunished. Report people via ticket who openly admit to throwing games? "We will check into it" Player goes unpunished. Get reported for swearing? GOOD FUCKING GAME TO YOUR ACCOUNT, thanks for all the money you've spent.

They're too fucking stupid to realize in order to minimize toxicity, you get rid of trolls. Instead of fixing the problem, let's post some half assed statistic about toxic players and losing matches, without understanding the difference between occurrence and causality.

I hope their shitty company fails from the cancer within.

I do not really get a grasp of where this is coming from, as there is no source listed here, but it seems highly anecdotal. The general fallacy of basing these assumptions (that only foul language and verbal toxicity warrants bans, not mechanical toxicity) on anecdotal evidence, is that you as a regular player cannot see or investigate if their behavior was punished. I have no immediate sources that you are wrong, but the burden of evidence is on the accuser, which is you.

It's sad because people really only base things like this because people complain about their bans for being toxic. I would assume the people who are ban for being a troll and ruining games like that know full well why they were ban and either don't care, or just make a new account to continue to troll.

-"Game devs" have nothing to do with behavior team. -There are no "unviable champs". -As for "unviable builds", only limited ammount of champions dont benefit at all from Ability power. Everything else is viable (seems like u dont know difference between viable and less effective).

  • If player didnt get punished for 3rd party after they said they will look into it, there are several reasons: either player stopped using 3rd party program, or he never used it (and btw if you say: WTF SHYVANNA THAT DAMAGE and he responds HAX, that doesnt mean he admits to using any cheats, he is just mocking you). -Trolls dont cause toxicity. Thats just excuse of people who lack social skills and their only way to deal with issues is to humiliate and insult other person. Also, just because "trolls" are breaking rules, that doesnt grant you permission or excuse to break them yourself. You should have learned that as a child as i am sure most schools had system where they told you to resolve problems between 2 student by talking to teachers, school psychologist or whoever was in charge. And that you should never engage into verbal or physical conflict.

Also if you dont like it here, if u dont like company or community, why are you here? Why didnt u leave as soon as u started disliking it? You dont watch movies u dont like, u dont listen to music u dont like, u dont play or watch sports u dont like, u arent socializing with people u dont like, you dont date people u dont like. So why do you play game you dont like? There are plenty of games out there, is there something stopping u from just leaving?

Well someone's pretty damn wrong about how the system works.

Out of curiosity, but did you recently get banned/chat restricted for toxicity?

I think Riot/Tencent should NOT care about "trolls" that much. Don't get me wrong, the actual trolls (Disco nunu etc.) deserve a ban. However, People cry troll the second someone picks an unconventional pick or ban a pick intent.

Think before you flame: Did you have a chance to firstpick said champ? No? Is it a pick/ban atm? Yes? Then the ban is justified. If you can first pick that champ sure, I will give it to you. But I won't let that Graves get picked up by the enemy team because you couldn't firstpick him.

Doesn't Tencent own the game now?

Hard to get rid of things that do not have a proper definition... what does "troll" mean?

Be a troll and deliberately ban your teams picks,

You can only ban one champion. If that person bans your champion, well though luck. Maybe they are a douche, maybe they are not. If you don't like it, you can always dodge.

pick unviable champs

There are no "unviable" champs really.

Also you know nothing about that subject anyway since you are so low elo, and playing in OCE.

build unviable builds

Just because someone builds something unorthodox, doesn't mean it's unviable.

Also again, you know nothing about that subject anyway.

Wrong. Both of those things get punished however the former is a bit harder to detect than the latter. Just because someone is bad, playing badly or just having a bad game, doesn't mean they are intentionally ruining the game.

You can swear. Riot has said many times they don't mind swearing. You can even swear at people. It's when your swearing has turned into complete verbal assault and harassment, wishing seriously twisted shit on people you don't even know. You know, the FB your support gave 20 minutes ago that you keep bringing up and that you started /all gg plz report? Yeah, no one cares, so just shut up about it.

Like for instance, say you have an AP Nasus, he's 15/2/10, do you report him, while you are 2/15/3? I mean that's an obvious troll build and it's gotta be someone else's fault that you're doing so poorly, because you are definite LCS material, but you keep having trolls and people throwing your games.

It's a competitive game, a huge portion of the game is made up of people who think they are low Diamond with an average KDA of 4/13/8 who mains ADC with an average CS of 60 @25 minutes.

I've seen literally hundreds of 4v5 or 4v6 games go in favor of the 4.

The chat is seriously easy to scan and see obvious verbal assaults. It's not so easy to scan a 30-40 minute game to see what the person was doing was intentionally trying to just screw 4 team mates.

One is a lot easier to ban than the other and both can ruin the game experience -- trolling through actions, words through tilting and loss of focus. When someone is spamming swear words at you in chat, unless you mute you're gonna be paying more attention to that, either retaliating or attempting to ignore, than the game.

Naughty words are the best. I almost always use the N word.

And by the N word I mean the dreaded.... "Nerd".

Nerd ! Bwahahaha, so naughty.
