Ok sounds great. When does the honor system recognize honorable players?
Depends how you want ro define recognize. On one hand it is whenever you get rewards such as keys or checkpoints. Maybe when you get voted most honorable.
Let me rephrase, how does honor system determine honorable play?
Just with play and player input. I'll explain my thought later.
How does the system determine you are playing hard?
Again, probably player defined.
It's possible to receive honor from a team mate even when you have not earned it.
That is opinion on if you earned it. All 3 categories are opinion based choices. Shotcallings being the closest to not being.
So in all this is how I picture how it actually works.
In my mind there is an invisible progress bar, lioe our xp one. After a game, everyone gets say 10 hp (honor points) by default. An honor from a team mate gives you 2 hp (1hp from premade). Extra 2 hp if everyone honors someone. Extra 2 if most honorable. For example:
No premade, mlm olo mlm is most honorable on team with 3 votes. 10 base, 6 from votes, 2 from most honorable, and 2 from all honoring. You got 20 hp from that game.
Uh oh. That last team mate got upset by somethings you said. Not the best wording was used and they report you. The IFS determines it to be a valid report against you, but not enough to issue a full punishment. So as a result, it takes back the 20 hp you just got as it determined you were not an honorable player.
