What have you created

In the elo I played (perma-banned so this is the last time I will be anywhere near a League of Legends forum) in, Gold to Platinum, what I experience is just a toxic cesspool of ignorant, oblivious and selfish players, who acts so hostile towards each other, abusing the report button for that basic egotistic need, for that lowly satisfaction of "power". people say they play to climb yet all I see is people playing to looking for excuses to help them say they aren't the problem. Riot has empowered the players to punish their fellow players and it is being abused to no end. players formulate "reporting trades" in post game lobby, "if you report xxx I will report xxx for you", its sad, what little power the players have is being abused to this extent, you can be reported over anything, people will exaggerate for the sake of a better case for the tribunal. Being verbally abused and harassed by toxic players (or they would be toxic if there was no bias) yet I cannot retaliate because of my previous records, in reality I did retaliate and it resulted in a perma-ban, it was quite unfortunate the game decided to pair me with a team of 4 dynamic queue players, who constantly filled all-chat with verbal harassment and taunting, placed me mid when I preferred top, and gave me the toxic support I had for the last 2 games, then a jungle who threatens to afk at level 2 due to an enemy invade. what's more unfortunate is that these are the people who has rights to report players. Why is that during tribunal cases, the lens is almost purely focused onto the one being reported, why is the ones who sent the report not being examined? can a "justice" system be just if the system itself creates this much bias? Unfortunately it will not change, and my account will stay perma-banned. its asking too much for people to change, it's only human to act the way they do, to be hostile and harmful to others, especially over the internet, a simple concept I believe any intelligent human being understands, so why is the report system initiated by players, voted by players, and ultimately influenced by players.

Report trades and mass reports are pointless. Reports do not lead directly to punishment. They lead to a review.

If you think someone is deserving of a report, make the report. They will be placed in the system for review. There is nothing stopping you from doing this.

Exaggeration is also pointless, since the reported are judged for their actions alone. What others claim they have done have no bearing.

Your previous records have no bearing on whether or not you can retaliate, because you should never retaliate. In general Riot's policy is "two wrongs don't make a right". Mute, report at the end of the game and move on.
