League is promoting trolls

Read the entire thing before deleting it mods ^_^ New report system is promoting trolls, ever since the new system was put in place, every game, the word "report xxxx" has been use in every single ranked game I've played, and people who are doing poorly using that as the ultimate excuse to hide behind whenever someone criticize them for questionable plays. and of course this goes both ways, anyone who is on tilt/playing poorly is made fun of until they finally say something to retaliate and immediately met with the respond of "reported", and the inevitable chat restriction notification a few games later. maybe its just the time of the day, but for the past 10 games I've played, every game had one or two people, picking on someone on the team, trying to get them to rage back at them, to report them and get them banned, and keep in mind, these people are the ones trolling, feeding, intentionally feeding, or just straight up refusing to communicate with the team, of course they won't be banned because they either, a) do show anger or troll actions in their words, but in reality they are the ones costing their team a loss. b) using words that can be taking as a joke but in reality thy are using it at the worst times, for example, intentionally feeding, getting caught, afking and such. And I'm sure everyone has realized this just playing the game in the past few days.

I think people are promoting trolls actually, the refusal to just keep your mouth shut and mute them seems difficult for a lot of people for some reason.

And a lot of the time those same people need to get 1 final jab at whomever or inform them they are being muted instead of just shutting up.

I don't deny trolls can exist, but the ones supposedly being "pushed" to break rules are doing it to themselves.

Haha, it's true. I had a Nami one time and she bought a sightstone but never used it, yet kept getting caught out. So I simply said, "Nami please use your sightstone, it's nice to have vision." I got a reply of, "Stfu, harassment, reported." WUT. How can I get reported for reminding you that you're carrying un-used wards around. Everybody is a professional, they watch the LCS therefore they have no room to grow. If you give advice to somebody it's never welcomed because they watch pros play, they understand the game. I do watch LCS and highlights, but I won't say I have no room for improvement. I constantly am asking questions about what to do next in situations that normally I might have poor map placement. Until people can realize that they are in their ranks for a reason, it will forever be like this.

It's True, League is filled with Trolls now, can't wait till the next game comes out so that I can drop this one so fast. I'm thinking Overwatch

Most of my games have one or two people (as premade) doing that.. sometimes to me, sometimes someone else from my team, and when that happens i usually mute them but when i do, they start pinging like crazy on me to the point i have to mute pings sounds just by them.,, which affects my gameplay a bit ... they force u to rage at them so they can report you for doing it.. i had a "main karthus diamond smurf" on one of my ranked games,.. he couldn't get mid lane so he went bot "as support" with me.. no sigh-stone at all.. then he went 1/10 the first 5 minutes.. trolling to the point i couldn't hold it anymore and raged at him... the fun fact is that after that game ended he acted like a victim and reported me and suddenly 2 week ban...

I always send tickets to the player support team when i get that annoying warning about behavior.. i always ask them to check the context of the situation before doing anything.,, because most of the times the guy who sent the report is the one who made everyone else get mad at him doing it on purpose so he can have an excuse to report us.. been asking for the real tribunal system and not this automatic stuff.. since i don't know.. but still this persist.. i know people with endless chat restrictions chains because trolls keep reporting them, even if they didn't say anything the whole game.

So please RIOT team .. before doing anything make sure to check the context!! a lot of times the guy who reported is the one that deserves the punishment.,

Had an Ez that didn't connect for the first five minutes. He comes in when we are down 4 kills (jungle invades, four man ganks against the support and mid, etc). He farms for the rest of the game, whining to the enemy that we are reporting him for his comp issues when we have made it clear it is his trashtalking to us and his refusal to group.

Separate game this week had a Yi afk at the fifteen minute mark. Asked in all chat for them to report him (literally all i said was "Yi afk plz report", this was my first all chat comment in the game). Got told by the enemy team that they were reporting me for being toxic. This was a normal game, nothing outside of the afk happened, there was no real trashtalking, no one was feeding. And yet i got two reports over asking them to report our afk.

You're right, unfortunately Riot refuses to address this at all. I don't see that changing any time soon, if at all. They don't actually care if your games are torture, as long as you still buy them skins.

I noticed this happening long before the updated system. A long long time before... Since I started playing years ago actually.

This is why i mute all every game. Its so worth it. Whenever I make a mistake I can focus on trying to make a comeback instead of tilting to any trolls bullshit.
