Reinforcing the banning system.

Today I wanted to make a thread about a certain issue at hand that really needs some attention to as well as some solving. This issue basically regards reinforcing the banning system. Now you're probably wondering what I actually mean by this but, let me explain.

First of all, I can understand that toxic people are always going to get banned and I have no doubt that they always will get banned because this game definitely does not need players who are just going to be downright toxic and flame other players because this game just doesn't need that and it really wasn't designed for that purpose. But if anything, players who genuinely just be cocky and try and provoke other players, whether they're on the same team or from the enemy team to argue then, something needs to be done about that. Muting them won't exactly change anything. It's only going to stop you from seeing them be cocky and whatnot but it's not going to stop them from being cocky towards other players. Not only that but, not everyone is going to mute one another, you know. Some people will argue back after getting provoked and eventually there will be people being toxic to one another. Now this needs fixing, asap. Riot, if anything, need to take action about this by either giving actual chat restrictions to the ones who are being cocky and whatnot. If not that then, they need to give out some temporary suspensions. If people STILL continue to be cocky and just keep on intimidating and causing grief for others, they definitely to be banned.

Second of all, the reason as to why I am bringing up this topic now is because I am honestly so fed up of people just downright causing trouble for others and they don't get punished for that but the ones who be toxic and actually argue back, they're the ones that DO get punished. And if anything, that's really not fair. This game does not need people who are cocky or who are provoking others for no good reason, you know, this game just does not need that. Granted this game is supposed to be all about competitive play and whatnot but, it shouldn't be about people making fun of others and just easily getting away with it.

In addition, I linked this particular match with this thread because, the Braum from the enemy team as well as the Vi were examples of what I mean by people being cocky and just provoking others to argue back. Like, what happened was that, our team was losing this match because LeBlanc and Quinn were doing a lot of damage and completely deleting some of us including me so, all I said was "wow" because I was simply just surprised at how much damage they were doing and whatnot and then, this Braum decided it would be a good idea to just say in all chat "I hear an ocean", basically implying that either myself or my teammates are just salty. I was tilted I'll admit that but, I didn't want to stoop down to that Braum's level by arguing back in all chat. I kept in all my frustration and tilt to myself in reality and I even told my teammates, "Look, I'm pretty tilted right now, I'm not performing well whatsoever" and they understood but even they were tilted. Also, this Vi, straight after Braum said what he said, she typed in capital letters in all chat, "SALTY". People like this seriously don't make the game enjoyable whatsoever for others because they think that it's okay to grief other people because they're winning but in reality, if they were losing a game, people would honestly do the same thing to them and they wouldn't like it. So really, Riot just needs to reinforce the banning system or the whole system in general in a way that it actually has an impact to everyone playing the game. What I mean by this is, they need to make it so that, not only toxic people are punished but also the people who are cocky/griefing other players/causing trouble/provoking others to argue or provoking others in general need to be punished as well. That way, they can actually make the game fair for everyone and if they can manage to accomplish this then, many more people can start to learn their lesson. Because at the minute, people who are toxic and flaming others are the main ones who are in the wrong here and that's understandable because they are in the wrong. They are the ones who are being hurtful towards other people and whatnot but then so are the people who are being completely egotistical and cocky because they too are being hurtful towards other people and they're getting away with it. They're not being punished whatsoever and that's just not acceptable.

In conclusion, that's basically all I had to say really. I mean, if Riot do happen to take all of this under thorough consideration then, that would honestly be appreciated. Thank you to those though who took the time and effort to read all of this and yeah, that's all I had to say.
