They don't even care about the big ones anymore. People post harassment/witch-hunting threads and the mods just join in.

Speaking for myself, I'm still removing things I encounter that are seriously problematic, but I haven't been moderating smaller infractions since we lost notification messages. Having your content vanish without seeing why sucks, so many of us have opted to soften moderation as a result.
