I know , before I even start, that more than one person will just say I'm salty or post a pic of salt. BUT Is there a legit way to get out of bronze elo without being at a gold/plat skill level or getting extremely lucky with teams? You either queue by yourself, and get a feeder, afker, or quitter in 2/3 matches (which means you cannot move to bronze 1 from 2 or even get enough LP to even get promotion matches) or you queue with 4 people and lose to a more experienced 5 man group 2/3 times. Let's face it most of us do not have a 5 man group that plays together all the time. So is there a way? I'm not salty, I just wonder, do I have to get extremely lucky with good summoners?

Nice way of asking for advice without coming across as whiny.

No salt. +1

But yea seriously, the only way you can get out is to become better.

If I played Irelia in a bronze game.. LOL.. bahahahaha.. I don't know if it would be possible to lose.

I am good with irelia, not great because she only got me to plat. If I wanted to get out of plat, I would have to get better. That is once I climb out of silver from my placements... :)

Edit - It isn't easy and the trolls and afks will make it take longer, but if you are better than the average bronze player, you WILL climb.. maybe slowly.. maybe not. If you are not climbing, IT IS because you are not good enough to climb. "Good enough" encapsulates a lot of different aspects, cs, game knowledge, game sense, macro play, team play, champion select, correct builds for the situation, ward placement and vision, objective control and prioritization, roaming, diving, fight positioning, target prioritization, peeling, the list goes on and on and on and on....

You have to get good. What bronze players don't realize is that Bronze MMR is LITERALLY 50% of the playerbase. You have to be better than half the people who play this game to be not in Bronze. So go practice. Do CS drills. Research builds. Play games on a small champion pool so you can carry with them. If you're in Bronze, that means you belong there because 51%+ players are better than you. I got myself out of Bronze this way, and so can anyone else who actually WORKS for it. And I am a SUPPORT main.

I think the main issue is when a summoner gets placed bronze they automatically get demoralized so it's easier to give up.

Just get better, and be positive...You'll get out...

If you run into 1-2-3 games with trolls, in ranked, gtfo of ranked for a bit...They are like a roaming plague of locusts. Go practice a new champ or technique in norms/aram for a bit...

Played 8 straight ranked games in Bronze ELO. Had 0 trolls. Played with players with skill levels close to high silver and higher, and I personally performed at a level higher or equal to that. All of the people who actually want to climb are playing right now (at least during school/work hours). Just play well and hitch a ride with them, I'm already in promos out of Bronze.

From a bronze player in season 4 to a plat player in season 5 going to diamond, my best advice is if you cant carry on a certain role you need to fined 2 you can carry on for me its top and jungle i have a small champion pool of 4 champs. You can do the same with practice but since ur already in bronze and you cant go lower practice in ranked if you were silver id say go in norms but bronze is the lowest so may aswell test there hope it helps :)

I didn't expect such positive responses. Thank you all for the kind advice and I shall practice harder, and I will prevail!

The way I got to Gold was by learning carry champions. My natural go to champions are team fight, cc heavy tanks. My two favorite champions are Cho'gath and Zac. However, those champions can't really hard carry games on their own and rely on the rest of your team (that is most likely really incompetent) to follow up with damage or do the majority of the damage in fights. So they aren't ideal for ranked.

I picked up Warwick jungle last season and immediately shot through the ranks like nobody's business. In lower queues, no one will buy a QSS, so his ult is crazy powerful, and he can hard carry games real easily. I added Morgana mid/support who can be as safe as you want her to be while dealing a ton of damage (and mid/late game binds can completely change games), and Tristana adc who can take down a million turrets given 10 seconds alone in lane. Easy, carry champions that you don't have to depend on trash teammates to succeed with are the only way to move up in ranked.

Just pick a low skill champion that is op as shit and play them every chance you get. Preferably one that isn't banned very often (Garen) and get to silver.

I do not want to make another conversation about my next point because it goes along the same lines, but I had a thought. Perhaps, if riot changed it to where when you click to queue up ranked, it gives you a message. This message could read something along the lines of, "Please understand that it isn't fair to queue in a ranked matched if you are not prepared to play as best you can, and have time to play. Please try to ensure that your internet connection is optimal before queuing. Furthermore, toxicity and afking in ranked matches that leads to reports are considered double that of a normal match." And then implement a rule that makes it clear that if you break the summoners code in ranked matches it will lead to much stricter and swifter ban. Thoughts? Has this been thought of, it seems so simple. Stricter rules for ranked since it is meant to be taken much more seriously. Ranked matches are like the big game and normals are practice in my own opinion.

Friend of mine went from Bronze 4 or 3 to Silver 2 last season, all on his own. Season before that he finished low Bronze again, so it's not like he's some superstar player.
