Dealing with people who use ban to grief

So I have experienced a handful of times, people who intentionally ban the champion I want to play in order to grief me out of the gate in character select. Most recently, it was of course, with Yuumi. That being said, I have had it happen in the past with other support picks and I was curious if there was a way to report these kinds of people? Or if Riot had another tool for dealing with them? And it's not that I can't play another support champ but, my team shouldn't really be causing me a problem by banning my desired champ before we even get into the game. It would be one thing if they were banning because they didn't want to play against the champion, but to ban something because you don't want your own team playing it...? Cmon....

All bans in the ban phase are intentional.

Bans come first, and anyone can ban any champion for any reason they want.

Don't hover your pick

You can file a support ticket (found right here) and a support agent will review their account. The problem is that for someone to be punished for it, they have to consistently do this over a long period of time and outright announce their intent as well.

The reason why is because, while we may not like it, there are very legitimate reasons to ban a teammates' intended pick. I personally think this is doubly so for newer champions like Yuumi. Because of this, Riot has made it a point to generally not punish for behavior that can't be classified as 100% malicious.

There's no way because there's nothing wrong with banning a pick. Each player gets their say over a champion to ban. Players do not have say over other's champion bans. It's not griefing.

Yuumi is probably the worst example for this right now because if you're not first pick, it's been so incredibly likely it is going to get picked and the team will be playing against it.

Riot have said it is ok to ban champions you don't want to play against or with
