Forced into giving up my role in champ select because of a premade of four players taking all other roles. What's being done to prevent this? What can be done? Please. This is ridiculous and should not happen, ever. I shouldn't have to give up my role in fear of being reported or griefed just because a premade of four doesn't want one of their roles.
If someone gets in game and plays a role other than that which they are assigned, they are liable to be punished for it.
If all they do is take an off-meta champion, summoner spell, etc, that is not punishable. If they claim in chat that they are going to take your role, that is punishable - but usually only as a toxic chat offense. Riot will not punish for trolling until trolling has actually taken place - which requires them to be in game and have game evidence.
In any case, you should report the behavior using the end-of-game screen or a support ticket.
you have the right to your assigned role. Them stealing the role is a punishable offense, you staying in you assigned lane isn't.
However, if you are talking about blind pick, then there are no lane assignments in that game mode.
