If there's one thing I've learned about human beings....

Is that they are stupid and lazy. If you ban toxicity for 3-day suspension every time they offend you may deter them far more than warnings. It's a soft punishment but done often enough the person will just be sick of the inconvenience and learn to stfu. 2 offenses in one week, you only get to play twice that week. Too bad.

I don't think permanent banning works. But there needs to be a responsive system in place.

The trolling in this game is completely out of control. For me, It's 1 for 1 every game. Every win will be another loss after that I have to magically overcome. Which I have by playing hypercarries but is that really what people need to do at low elos? I'm literally crawling at 2 LP every two games to the next division.

Is that good game design? Is that right in your mind, Riot?

I think the reason you're losing is less that you get trolls and more that your KDA is atrocious, you have far lower damage than you should, and your warding is awful. Last game you played as support you placed 8 wards, destroyed 0, and bought 0 control wards.

Given an overall KDA average of 1.87 and a kill participation of 45% as a jungle main in your last 20 games, a win rate of 40% doesn't surprise me at all.

Remember, there's a statistically greater chance of a troll being on the enemy team than on your team, so if you deserve the rank you have, you'll stay there, and if you deserve a higher rank, you'll climb.

Believe me, I thought the same way you did. After taking a long break from LoL, I came back to see my average win rate and KDA were terrible. I realized, "Hey, maybe I'm part of the problem here." I started watching pros playing on Youtube or streaming, and I worked to improve my skills based on what they said. And it's working; in my past 22 games as Lux support, I have a win rate of 60%. After trying to switch to mid, my win rate has gone down, so I'm going to stick with what I'm good at.

You seem to be very fond of Shyvana. Maybe try to find someone who's at least in Diamond who plays her and see what you can get out of it. Even if you don't find someone who mains Shyvana, look up Diamond+ jungle mains and see what they do differently. There's always room for improvement, so if you keep a learning mentality and remember that statistics are on your side, maybe you'll start climbing again.

you sound like you came out of a really bad game or something, take a break and then post again.

Given that I'm able to do this (while not playing too seriously)

I seriously doubt you evaluate your skills correctly.

The classic bronze argument "When I win because I am good, when I lose it's the rest of the teams fault". Good luck living in denial!
