@Riot - What are your plans for the Honor system?

I've made a post about providing a minuscule LP boost (1-2 LP) for players that receive post-game (ranked) honors in order to bring back some relevance to the Honor system.

That got me thinking though - I know that a lot is going on with the development of the new client, champions, and patches. This Honor system feels completely abandoned. I think there are fewer players with an Honor Ribbon than there are players with a Challenger icon.

I think it's fair to say that the Honor system has been broken for a long time now, and I'm curious to hear if there are plans to overhaul it or remove it from the game.
