Should my friend have gotten a 14 day suspension for this?

Hey, so on behalf of my friend, I'll be posting this (the support ticket he submitted) and am going to be asking if he deserved this 14 day suspension. I personally feel that he should have gotten a chat restriction (for obvious reasons) but I'm unsure if a 14 day suspension was the appropriate punishment. I received permission to post this from my friend and am only posting it for him because his account is only level 5, I believe that he isn't able to make a post about it yet.

Hello, my name is DPR of Korea - Yes this may not be the most pleasant of names with the current situation going on surrounding North Korea (although it is a very good thing things are being discussed between the two Korea's at the summit meeting :D). Anyways, I'd like to question if this 14 day suspension is warranted.

Now although I do agree that I may not have been the most friendly or code abiding summoner on the rift, but I would like to point out that the Irelia started flaming me in all chat because I was having a bad game. While I did not take it in the best of ways, I did refrain from stating derogatory or racially unjust slurs and kept the argument at a pretty minimum level. I would agree if this were a chat restriction as this would instead help me to untilt and make use of my 5 chat restrictions for the game towards more game influencing positive chat messages but I don't see how a 14-day suspension was necessary or deserved for this in game argument.

I am 100% in the wrong for not treating this game in the right/positive/forward moving motion but I would like to have the restriction/suspension to a slightly lesser punishment. Sorry for the hassle and trouble but I'm just disappointed in myself for having ruined my fun for the weekend.

So to explain the game fairly concisely, the MF said something about me feeding and I responded with "I don't tryhard" now I did include a comment that was a little sarcastic, "much more fun to just spam buttons, try to win impossible trades" but this is clearly not true as I was actually trying to play the game (taking decent trades, using rotation of spells), just that I wasn't focusing 100% on my actions.

The Irelia continued to harass me for the entirety of the game and I (although I shouldn't have) kept the argument going. This is half my fault, but most of the comments that I took upon myself were simple responses to what the Irelia was saying. In retrospect I may have encouraged the Irelia to keep on going but idk.

Anyways, thank you for your time, and please reconsider if this was worth a 14 day suspension. It'd make my weekend.
