do people who throw games by int afking get banned?

was in a game where someone said "u guys can lose, I'm afk" and then left. the game was actually close up until then afterwhich we lost. is this a bannable offense?

Yes, leavebuster will get them sooner or later.

Leavebuster can lead to bans, but yes, it is also reportable.

It is potentially bannable three ways.

The chat modules of the IFS will count "u guys can lose, I'm afk" as negativity that contributes to their next punishment, but I think the IFS doesn't view that line as terribly negative on it's own, which is less than what I would consider optimal.

It is possible for the IFS to issue a ban for intentional AFK. If i happens, it is treated as a gameplay offense which earns a 14 day ban for the first confirmed offense. Sadly, this is very unlikely.

Thirdly, if they make an extreme habit of going AFK, the account can be punished either through the IFS or the rare manual review (If they get reported a shit-ton, and the IFS finds nothing, it's possible to trigger a manual review).

yes and no. bannable if he just sits in base and actually afks, not bannable if he goes in jungle and just farms till your team loses, because technically he was "playing"
