Literally word per word, 5 minutes into a ranked game, when the adc asks to swap lanes for no reason. 5 year olds shouldn't be playing ranked. Now I have to sit through this person literally running it down mid with their broken ass English all game so I can lose.
Edit: They admitted later they were doing it for fun and there was nothing we could do to stop them, was the only person to vote no on early surrender, and then told us that was true.

Just because you think its a waste of time to fight not only your opponents but a member of your ow n team does not mean others feel the same way . That is what the early surrender option is for it does have to be unanimous
I have seen games where we did have a feeder and the surrender vote was defeated multiple times.
There may be a chance you can pull out a win it may be slim and you may lose eventually any way but the game is not over till its over.

the only way you can beat them if the surrender vote fails is not to play in solo que where they are .
If this is such a concern for you and it bothers you that much and causes you to become stressed and "feel like a hostage" then surround yourself with a team you trust and feel safe with and just play with them in team/ premades

You do know you can mute pings and chat in game .
If all you get is silence take that as a message as you are either muted or people simple do not agree with you or are busy and adapt.
If that frustrates you and you want more communication and coordination
then its up to you to make the choice to stay out of solo que and just play with peole you know who act lie that .

Telling someone you are muting could be seen as inflammatory and a re portable offence. the same with telling someone your reporting them

personally i leave it unmuted for one reason .

I have been playing for years am honor 4 and have very rarely ever typed anything in chat . I do use pings but only answer them if i agree with what they are pinging about and have a moment from what i am doing
I have never so much as got a warning. So from my personal experience alone i can say you are wrong or something would have happen to me over the last how ever many years I have been playing in ranked and non ranked modes.
again if you actually take this game "seriously" I would recommend staying out of solo que and playing with peole who think like you you will probably find the experience alot less stressful.

I'm not defending intentionally disruptive toxic individuals. ... personally i would be a harsher judge than Riot themselves are.
my suggestion that you avoid solo que to protect your own mental health because you cant seem to handle the way things work in reality under riots current rule set .
