Questions about instant feedback and not talking in games

Now that my account (this one) has a 2 week ban and is one phase away from a deletion, I have decided to take this forum's advice and and try to reform. I still have NOT received a reform card OR email from Riot to my email this account is linked to (Can't even log in to the launcher to SEE a reform card)

Here are a few questions; If I get reported even though I did nothing wrong by toxic players, can I still be banned? It seems this "instant feedback" just bans whoever is reported.

If I don't talk in game to my team at all (one of the suggestions is to just not talk at all and only ping) Can I get flagged/banned for "Not communicating"?

Lastly, need any more tips to help me reform.

-Thanks

If the instant feedback ban anyone that was reported we would be seeing a hell of a lot more bans/punishment. the IF works (with toxic behavior) by looks for trigger words you typed in the chat, as well as other things i would assume as well. If you did nothing wrong (chat wise/toxic behavior) the chatlogs would show. riot has stated time and time again that not typing in chat is NOT a reportable/bannable offense. its one of the reasons why it go taken out (as well as other things) of the report end game options.

Not communicating means much more than just not typing. its basically failing to help your teams. Like if there is a team fight and you not only refuse to help in that team fights, but also not getting objectives while that is happen could be failing to communicate because you are not helping.

Just wait, and remember to check your spam folder. It should come up soon hopefully.

As for helping reform, just mute and report. thats about as simple as it gets. You want to get back at people who are breaking the rules just muting them and reporting after the game will help. if it does get to you take breaks after matches, go get a bite to eat/drink, lift weights, punch a punchingbag, yell at your screen/pillow.

Riots instant feedback system is mostly fool proof, but to be able to have instant feedback there will be sacrifices for the better of the community.

The auotmated system is just AI - it attempts to review your chat and decide if you deserve punishment. You have to be reported X number of times or by X number of players in a game (riot did say that 9 reports in 1 game can initiate the decision making process for a ban, but generally 1 report is about equal to 9 reports). Riot claims that in an internal test, the false positive rate was about 1 in 6000. So can you be banned unjustly? Sure. Is it likely? Not really.

I made a post recently on riot not punishing the people who provoke others into being toxic, but of course the high horse community of unranked players decided that wasn't true.

My advice: when someone starts being a toxic prick, mute and report. If they're in the unreportable portion (such as seeing you going 0-4 in top lane and poking at you for feeding without explicitly calling you a shitty player and therefore immune to punishment, just mute, carry that piece of shit, and bring the head in the post game chat - it doesn't factor into the automated punishment system.

In all honesty, the best policy is to keep calm and know these people are taking their shitty lives out on you and try to not let it get to you. Live your life and do your best! Maybe throw in an aram haha. Best of luck!
