Can Riot please remove the downvoting feature on the boards?

I think we all know that groups of people abuse it to prevent discussion about what many consider genuine issues in the game. Its unfair that only the majority on the boards get heard while many numbers of players have their topics unfairly voted down by people who either do it to be spiteful or want to protect their OP champions/items/etc.

It is completely unfair to most people who do not have leagues of groupies who upvote everything that they say.
