Lost my promos but didn't get mad.

I just wanted to share that I lost both games in a row in promos as a support and my team was just awful, bottom of the barrel play, utterly stomped, tilted at the first minute. And I'm still calm. I did my best. I traded my jungler role to play support and he fed his ass off and couldn't play rengar to save his life. But I was still calm. I got a tiltproof honor for it, and we lost by a landslide because my team either gave up early and carelessly fed to make a woe is me point or I got a team full of 1/10 teammates. But what's done is done. I could not change the outcome of that very unlucky matchmaking error that occurred. I'll still keep chugging along, and maybe next promo game I'll win. But once you've had enough of the rage, the blame, the unhappiness, you just have a much more enjoyable overall experience. Take it from me, don't go on a tilt losing spree. Don't click the join q button right away. Take some time off and come back when you've got the bitter taste of defeat out of your mouth. Sure, if I were a diamond level player I could have carried, but I just count this as bad luck on my quest to simply get to Gold 5. But I can accept that I am not that player, and that if I keep trying my time will come. I'm better than Bronze but not far better than my current league. I'll just keep chugging along.

That's the secret to climbing my dude, taking breaks to cool off and staying in control. You'll get there, see you in gold.

Congratulations, buddy.

I know that feeling. In my last game I had desire to be mad from the get-go. I saw Nunu in champ select and i knew sht will happen. The true is that sht did happen - Nunu only scored 2,305 damage throughout the game and I did most damage in the game though i was support. But... we won. Win is win and I am happy i kept quiet instead of tilting the team from the get-go.

Good thread my friend. I've probably played 2k ARAMs and 2k Normals and I can't imagine how much I'd hate this game if I got caught up on every single loss I've ever had. Given there are about 1k losses on both game modes, that's a literal ton of games that would be weighing on me.

When I do start to get upset, it's the reminder that I'll have many more games in the future that keeps me fighting. In the end, the game I'm playing now, the one that's making me the most upset, I'll probably forget about in a week.
