If I can get a warning for being a tiny bit rude to some one who was rude to me first on the boards, basically throwing what he said back in his face word for word, then you sure as hell better delete the post by <snip for naming & shaming> that started the issue where he insulted me first. Do your damn jobs, ffs. No more double standards, no more picking and choosing what gets removed, if you had done your job in the first place and prevented or deleted that post there would never have been any kind of argument at all. Unacceptable, get off your asses, start using your damn brains, and get the instigators who cause trouble in the first fucking place.

it's purely discrimination against myself and it happens with other well known posters too. It's complete bs. You can't have one set of rules that only applies to well known people and a completely different set that applies to random newcomers.

I know it does. And it bugs me, While I was never a popular GDer because I was on the side of disliking Toxiness, I pretty much stopped posting there because of the very things you bring up.

What I am saying though is if it wasn't in GD it most likely would have been removed..His comment. That's what I mean, I know No one is going to like this but GD wanted to have it's own culture and was accommodated to a point. Here's the problem where is the line of that point. Do you see what I mean.

Please understand...I would be upset if I were you also, and I agree with most of what your saying...maybe it is time to rethink that line. Let me know if he gets that comment deleted will ya ?

We agree with a lot of things :) I just believe that certain Rioters and Mods actually do care...thing is I'm glad you posted this because it's something I've been waiting for the right time to make my own thread about...I guess, it's time I said my peace also.

Other thing is I Know for certain people in charge do care...how do we as a community tell Riot how we feel ? And, how do we let them know what most people really think because----see below .....

And to bring up another unrelated subject: The troll accounts just to mess with people are insane !! Needs to stop. I have 2 accounts, I only use this one my practice/less serious account to post on here ( 1st one I used ). So, even if popular opinion is swayed one way who knows what people really want on GD ?

He made threads asking for forum badges one too many times... Apparently. That's the word I've heard but I'm not getting many straight answers and this is pieced together info. And you can say HateDaddy. His name is not taboo.

haha making me laugh...see there is a thing to this to in my mind anyway. In GD we are allowed to mess around a bit and say peoples names..this section takes it Very seriously.

Brings me to this point: Some people don't understand what the culture of GD really is and I am not going to say I am an expert on it by no means. I'm trying to put perspective on this for everyone reading who may not understand at all.

Positives only for this post ( or maybe forever ) but, I have seen them welcome 'some' newcomers better then anyone. There are a ton of knowledge about game-play, balance etc. as there are a lot of very good players there...again though what some forum posters don't understand is that their is also comradely and jokes that go beyond what someone who reads only other sub-sections. vrs. GD could ever understand. More I could say but I'll stop.

But back to your point: Yes, Yes, Yes...I think that some people get away with more things then other simply because they are the popular or most visible posters and this IS wrong. And people/posters sometimes use this, it's like the Fish going for the worm ...can't stop themselves from the sheep mentality.

Feel like I'm giving a friggen speech but I care about GD and I also care about Riot and being a decent person...this is the time to shine...so people this is the section for it ..opinions ?? ;) or we could continue although I winded lol

I don't blame you for using more then one account. I simply won't do it as much as I'd like to. Here is a short story of why--

I commented on a thread and got ambushed by 3 people...they spewed a lot of nasty things at me...I felt at no time was I any more then civil yet firm...but they continued to insult and belittle me..at one point someone said why don't you ask Riot for help and see if they give a She-i-t. So I did..only to find out later it was the same 1 person logging into other accounts to harass me.

My point is..complicated..but in my and your current situation similar. That person you are currently having a problem is clearly trying to harass you ! Thing is they don't have the guts to say their real handle/name and won't engage in a conversation...Therefore, I now am more certain that this is being carried over many threads and boards and should be dealt with...

One last thing...How does Riot do this while keeping firm with the standard they themselves have set up ? 1 answer This Board ! Comments ??

But Jaym please allow time for something to happen on this thread.. Most people reading this section don't really understand what is going on..give it some time. Blue anyone?? want to weigh in ??

Ok, I get that you guys are annoyed about this poster and what you believe to be double standards over GD moderation, but some of these posts are getting into personal attacks that are against the rules.

If you have issues with GD moderation, fine. I don't know how it works over there; whether there is an oversight system or if it's primarily based on votes. It may be necessary to file a support ticket about the issue. But even though they are posting over there and we can go and see the posts, attacking them from here really isn't appropriate.

And you called him out here. How is that not attacking him? Especially when it's unlikely he'll come over here, see it, and be able to respond? Yes, GD has it's own standards, but coming over here to post means you need to follow the rules set out in this board.

Have you filed any support tickets? If not, that may be what you need to do bring it to the attention of a Rioter who can look at the issue.

Out of curiousity, how does moderation in GD work? Is it monitored by Rioters, or is it primarily user-based? If it's primarily user-based, then I would bet there's a certain amount of popularity as a factor in moderation-- and that will result in what looks like double standards between long-term and newer posters.

Fair enough. Like I said, I don't go to GD. I tried a couple times at the old forums and decided it wasn't my thing. I've mostly stuck to the Behavior sections (Misc and Help/Support while there was no PB&M board) so seeing names tends to raise flags for me.

With any luck, the Arbitor system is a step towards volunteer mods.

The other person's comments were rude. I hate to say this but you know as I do that more then one person has to report to get that kind of remark removed on GD.

WOW, there are a Lot of things I'd like to bring up right now, but I feel like we need to do so in due process, I'd like to add that I have been going threw (not asking for any sympathy) My Mom has been sick and there are times I can and cannot spend here...having said this I will say a few things..

To any reading this Jaymc and I have a difference of approach and opinion but can talk freely. Although, we don't agree on all things there are certain things we and many do agree on..again I am not about to go in to it on this thread because I feel it needs to be talked about from many angles and threw a few threads.

If I may, the thing we disagree on the most is how the moderation deals with things going on in GD. If you don't at least read there regularly then you may not understand what is going on...

My feeling is IMO ..Riot and Mods are hampered by GD guidelines...The Culture...this creates a playground of things bordering on acceptable jokes and down right insults, and how is any one to know unless they study GD ??

Is there an answer and does Riot care ? YES, They care and my hope is threads like this brings more interest in this and many subject we as a community need to address :)
