First Time Back in Ranked Since Season 3

So I decided to give Solo Q a shot for the first time since season 3. I had done a couple group queues last season (maybe season before) but ventured out on my own this time.

First and foremost: I got autofilled to support after specifying Top and Middle. Fine, it happens, I get it, just sucks to be into my worst role my very first time.

Throughout the game (which went downhill fast) my team started raging at each other and being toxic overall. Only one player, besides myself, was not harassing the other teammates.

Finally, the endgame behavior was just sad. Refusing to end game by dancing in front of the fountain, ggez at the end, taunting, stuff like that. I get that it's technically not against the Summoners Code and that people will be do stuff like that but it was the fact that EVERYONE on the enemy team ignored the nexus after an ace and just danced/taunted in front of our fountain while the minions finished it off. It was a sad lack of sportsmanship by all players on the enemy team.

Overall, a very sad experience for my first time back in ranked in awhile. Not necessarily because we lost, which I was expecting, but because of the behavior and mechanics of the matchmaking environment.

Also - If you are going to have autofill be a thing, PLEASE reduce rune prices. Seriously, that's just ridiculous.
