Can you guys permanently chat restrict me?

I'm never toxic unless someone starts it first. If they start it I give them hell for how stupid they sound. If it was a voice chat, I wouldn't sound toxic at all, but because a text can be taken an infinite amount of ways it usually gets taken the wrong way. So, I was wondering if you guys could permanently chat restrict me. I would probably get to diamond if you did. I know i'm going to get comments telling me to just mute them, but once I start the rage it cant be controlled. I have an anger issue and its hard to control once it starts. So please perm chat restrict me. Not just a few messages every game. COMPLETELY chat restricted. Banning me is just going to result in me leveling another account and coming back in and repeating the process. I lose prolly 20% of my games from causing teammates to AFK, troll, or worrying so much about typing back that I mess up and die.

Why can't you control yourself from raging in 20%+ of your games? Not to be mean, but that's a much larger personal issue than playing some game.

Yes, they can. But you have to submit a ticket in the support, as they can't do this here in the boards.

If there's a way to have it done I would LOVE to, but I wouldn't want it to be super permanent..... I wish I could turn chat off at my will. I could turn it on when I'm playing with friends, and turn chat restrict on when I soloq. As someone with real irl behavioral issues, the chat restrictions helped me reduce my negativity a lot because I knew I couldn't waste my messages on being toxic, but it sucks playing with friends and not being able to talk..

You can submit a ticket and ask for a chat restriction. This actually comes up a lot and if it keeps you from being toxic (btw I admire that you own up to it, I really think that's awesome) Riot will most likely oblige. Best of luck to you man!
