Let's match toxic players with toxic players

Recently, I have learned that some people enjoys trolling and blame and having argues. When they start talking aggressively with the opposite team, they actually enjoy the action, and the response they get from being toxic. There are people who enjoy to fight (on keyboard) and getting hit. Toxicity may affect our games badly, but some people lives on it. Zac Not all people enjoy to be kind, and be treated kindly. Teemo. Some of us are gifted in trolling and being toxic.

This lead me to a new idea. Maybe we should stop taking toxicity as a vital problems. Toxicity is not a problem. **The real problem is letting non-toxic players playing with the toxic ones. ** Currently, we believe "toxicity" is an issue and we should protect the world from it by banning/suspending every single toxic players. BURN THEM ALL.

But our punishment system is not perfect, and it will never be. First, banning every single toxic players will cause drop in player base, which is not favouring Riot. Second, the toxic players will have a second or third account, and may also borrow accounts from their friends during suspension, which brings even more chaos to the queue system. We should let them stayed in their own accounts.

Instead of banning or suspending their account, why not let them play with the people of their kind? Matching "toxic players" with "toxic players" whenever possible (within acceptable queue time). Add a "toxicity" tag to the toxic players info and match them with their kind. When they are in pre-made, use the players with greatest tendency of "toxicity" as refernce to queue. With the numbers of toxic players we have, I am sure the queue time is only slightly affected. In this way, the kind people would be able to enjoy their peaceful game, while the toxic players can enjoy (suffer) the games of their styles.

There are many data we could use to identify the "toxicity" of a players, for example, frequency of ping, frequency of saying offensive words, frequency of AFK, frequency of being report, etc., and we should make use of them. We don't have to bury Zuan, we just have to isolate it from Plitover. I am not saying Zuan is bad, but we are just different from Zuanian, you know. Lets the Urgots play with Urgots.

Hope this could be considered seriously. Upvote this if you like the idea, or leave a comment if you don't.

Tl;dr: title said it all.

while I 100% back this idea, riot has already said they wont do any sort of prisoners island concept. I wish they would, but riot seems insistent on being able to "reform" people, which is an idea I find laughable. how many people on the internet do you know, that have ever changed their attitude about anything at all, based on what someone said / did? ever seen someone convert religions or political ideology because someone else on the internet made a statement or a comment? same thing holds true in league with regard to peoples behavior. The person being punished doesn't think what they did actually warrants punishment, and will continue to do whatever they did anyway, eventually getting their account permabanned and making a new one to spread toxicity to lower levels / new players.

This is an old thread, but I just thought of this idea and looked to see if anyone has came up with this type of concept. It does have flaws but i think the non-toxic players who don't end up in the toxic league will have such an enormous increase in the game experience it would be worth it. Possibly even have it reset once 1 -3 months so toxic players don't just get 100% stuck in the toxic league or "Toxic Island". but true toxic players will always end up back there soon enough.
Another possibility is to make it optional as well?!? the original poster did point out that some people just enjoy being toxic and the back and forth smack-talking. They might actually choose to play with other toxic people for the interaction, and in the process eliminate a large percentage of them from the people who don't enjoy it. It could really end up being a win-win this way.
