Contempting of banning system should get people instantly banned

You know it, someone is toxic and when you say you report them, they say they don't care.

They should get instant chat/3 days ban just for the principle.

Agreed, players who mock others for threatening to report them when they're toxic deserve instant punishment.

However, it is never necessary to lobby for reports against a player. The reform system reviews the game the same if there was 1 report or 9 of them. So you don't have to ask others to report them, you can just report them yourself and move on.

Additionally, if you announce your intention to report them then you are feeding their behavior by giving them attention. They will either troll harder or get angrier at you, or both. So really you benefit a lot more from muting them (instead of addressing them) and then reporting them after the game.

Telling someone you are reporting them will not make them happy. It's amazing how that works.

Erm. "Contempting" is not a word.

I don't know, I think it's pretty funny to see those comments on the chat log when they complain about their ban on the Boards.

Well it's true, the banning system is a joke. I could make an account last for months by just going in and "trying", and I honestly don't know how one of my other accounts has not had a chat restrict yet after I snapped at some unbearable ppl. We need more manual reviews for fuck's sake, if a guy gets reported at least once every couple of games it should be a big red flag to investigate

Threatening reports counts as harassment and is a punishable offense. Don't do it. Also, there's literally no point unless you're trying to antagonize them into being more toxic, in which case, again, that's harassment.

Maybe people who hold contempt for the rules Riot laid out should be instantly punished? But that includes threatening to report people. (Thought I'd also mention, there's something called the Instant Feedback System that Riot implemented. Just saying.)

Just don't do it.
