someone got banned for "inting" because of the sett sylas bug. support said they reviewed it haha

person is now unbanned again but man i just love that the support wrote him they reviewed his case and he was in fact inting and the ban would stay.

it really raises the question: do they have to fulfill a daily quota of "tickets done" or why do they not look at whatever you write for even 1 second before shitting in their copy pasta answer and closing the ticket?

at least now i got straight up evidence that the support is useless AND just lies straight into your face.

and the rioter in the comment section isnt doing any better. "yay youre unbanned" yeah id say thats the most obvious thing and nothing you should be proud of.

ps: let me just mention this because i know someone will bring it up yes i am very aware this happened on euw and the person most likely wrote the euw riot games support. every person on euw who ever sent them a ticket knows they are the worst support you can imagine. thats why many of us use the na support. at least they try.

I’ll say I’ve written into EUW support a few times, and honestly, they’ve been more personable in my interactions with them.

That being said, they probably get quite a few tickets about being unfairly punished, so I understand the mistake. It does feel bad that it was missed, though. But hey, at least the boards helped them out!

What I find just as ridiculous is the comment "... so we thank you for being one of the people who brought this to our attention." Or someting along those lines.

Vandiril made a video about this bug on the 12th december. That's over a month ago when Sett was still on the PBE.

So not only was this bug already known, they also shipped it knowingly onto the live server until it affected someone to get a fucking suspension because of it.

The pbe is a fucking joke. Feedback my ass, it's a skin preview playground, nothing else.

This is not new. 90% of the support staff probably never played LoL in it's life, has no idea about online games, and just mindlessly C+P their templates...
