Okay so right now in my low elo autofill is like the worst idea ever because every damn game i see wtf why am i support, instalock draven and ignore role.... run in balls deep doing absolutely nothing good for the sake of pissing off the other 4 people that wouldn't trade roles, or the begging to trade every damn game. This needs to be a bit.... different in lower elos, because lower elo= immature. Me included f course.
Auto FIll is literal cancer in a mode where players want to have team oriented play and maximal impact. If you pick fill as a position, it's on you... but being auto filled there is pathetic. If I wanted to risk an auto fill, I'd do solo Q and see what pick order I drew. Still see 3-7 minute Queue times for Flex all the time. 0 reason why Auto Fill should be there. I'd wait 5-10 instead.
on the account i play ranked on i only have top and jg champs and if i get forced to support via autofill i just break meta with yi support garen support darius support there is no rule binding players to play a specific champ for a role sure it pisses off the adc but hey its just a game
It's the single stupidest solution to their queue time "issue" so naturally... it's what they implemented...
I literally have had 1 real support in 100+ games.
