Has anyone climbed out of honor level 0?

I have been dishonorable for ages now despite having played 100s of games since being dishonorable and acquiring a fairly consistent amount of honors.

Has anyone actually climbed out of being dishonorable?

When people receive valid reports, that aren't enough to trigger a penalty, it still affects their progression through the honor system. This is often times what creates the perception for honor 0 players that it takes forever to climb. They think that just because they are getting honored and not penalized, it must mean they are progressing. This is not so.

So if everyone abused the report system, nobody would ever progress. Truth be told, that isn't that far off. I get reported for throwing the game because I have a conservative play style and retreat from losing battles before everyone else takes the hint. Riot has done some stupid things in the past but that one takes the cake.

So... you don’t necessarily have to recieve a penalty to be at level 0?

Only asking because I don’t think I’ve ever received a chat restriction or suspension, yet I started at level 0. And if I did receive any penalty - and it’s for the behaviour that I’m thinking of - that was almost 3 or 4 years ago.

Everyone started at honor level 2. The only way to have honor reduced is with a punishment. Punishments prior to honor had no effect on it.

To get to honor level 0 takes either two chat restrictions in close proximity (a chat restriction drops you to 1 honor if above that, or 0 honor if you're at 1) or a 14 day ban.

I don’t have any record of receiving either of these. I wonder why I was started at 0?

If anyone else has ever had access to your account, it's possible for them to have received a punishment and not informed you. If that happened, I would not create a support ticket as allowing other people to access your account is a permaban offense.

If you did not give anyone access, then a support ticket would be advised. They can either inform you of the punishment history of the account, or get the punishment revoked if you were hacked (after you prove that you are the original account owner).

I've climbed from honor zero to honor 2 in about 3 months and honor 2-3 in 1 month and for honor 0-2 getting honors won't do shit, you need to kiss ass and be inhumainly nice to ur team even if they troll or feed you have to say things like "nice try" "just unlucky i guess" and constantly congradulate your team verbally in chat "gj" "wp" "nice kill" "you guys are doing great" start and end every game with a glhf and ggwp.

Lul... im hopeless at this point... i was honour 5 last season got the ward and anything but at this point it took me sooooo long to get Honour 0 checkpoint 1... so rip my honour..

Yeah it took me a week. Like maybe 20-40 games.

I just acted like I normally would.

I got 10 game chat ban when i lost it on an inter.

Yep. Honour level 0 at the start of the year. Through some random and inconsistent bursts of gaming, I’m now one checkpoint away from level 3. It’s totally possible.

That being said, I’m not sure why I was level 0 in the first place. I don’t know what my penalty was; I don’t remember ever receiving one. It’d been so long since I touched League, I actually thought everyone started at 0.
