Can we have a honor progression %?

I find the honor system particularly non-interactive because of how hidden its inner workings are.

It would be nice to know that you are making actual progress in the honor system game-to-game instead of just an arbitray "you are two thirds of the way to the next honor level".

That's genuinely what the mileposts are intended to do.

The concern with more regular or more precise feedback is that some people will try to use that to game the system.

this is a good point since im posting about the same thing. I have had to have played at least 100 + games since being " reformed" from flaming trolls and feeders. But I'm bench mark 1 of 3 on 0 honor level. If im not making progress with the mute all button is there really even hope ? "and after 10 years and A BAZZILION games riot finally has thought this player to be reformed" Such an absolute joke of a system to begin with on top of having no clue whats going on. So when you dont see progress do you even see its worth to keep going in your new ways ? not really. anyways rant over and good point.

I presented this idea before and I got so much hate over it. That said, I doubt it will happen.

Like Ulanopo said, the biggest reason Riot had to withhold precise feedback on Honor Progress is that it would gamify the system and tell people "you have this much left to do before you get your next reward!" - it shouldn't be an arbitrary math problem of "how many Honors do I need to get/how much progress can I get to get to Honor 5" - the incentive of the Honor System is that you're supposed to want to be positive, sportsmanlike, and Honorable.

They want Honor to be a slow, gradual thing, sitting on the sidelines - not a main-focus grind. They want you to be aware of your Honor progression throughout the year, but not directly trying to push a little meter higher and higher.

On top of that, if they gave people a meter for Honor progression, they'd have the math behind Honor progression figured out in no time flat. And, again, that leads to no mystery, no excitement, just "oh, hey, I'm x amount of games with team honors away from my next milestone. woohoo."
