is black hole-ing gold reportable?

let's say that your team is behind, but there's one player with 6 items, is level 18, and another player who is level 13 or so and only has 2 items.

ignoring the reason this player is level 13 and behind in gold:

is it considered negative or report worthy if the player that no long needs gold and xp continues to wave clear the minions out from under their teammate?

let's say it's a xayah that has great wave clear at max level and max items

and

a oh... idk... evelynn that fell behind.

if the evelynn voices that they're trying to catch up with cs and xayah tells that player to basically SUCK IT because you're responsible for your own ability to farm...

is that reportable?

in my eyes it should be because you're literally wasting resources that your team could use to come back instead of letting a player who needs it come back into the game.

would this not be intentionally assisting enemy team/ negative behavior/griefing?

That depends... are they intentionally assisting the enemy team, or are they not?

This kind of falls into the same rough category as supports "stealing" cs: Disagreement on strategy is not punishable. If it's done deliberately to piss others off or sabotage your chance to win that's a whole other story of course… although it's not likely going to be detected.

No, it's not. There's too many factors, are they saving gold for an item switch after a ga pop? does that wave need to be pushed quickly because the team needs to be else where on the map to contest objectives, too many factors for it to be a reportable offense

Let's put it this way. The Xayah's possibly poor decision to clear the wave is roughly as reportable as each of the poor decisions that led the Evelynn to be 4 items behind.

I dont think its against the rules, its just a poor tactic that could contribute to a loss due to lack of strategic thinking and courtesy. One of those "losing is your punishment" type situations.

This happened in worlds. It's not punishable by itself.

The announcers even mentioned that the gold was useless on Xayah, as she was full build. But, as you mentioned, Xayah has great waveclear. At full build, the waveclear is even better.

Letting the support or behind jg get CS would individually be good for that player, but spending all that time dinking around is also a bad choice.

Play the game. Try to win. If you've got an ADC at full build already, set yourselves up for the win in the next 4 minutes. In many cases the support/jg who was gifted the cs in that case wouldn't even have a chance to back before the final fight anyway, so it doesn't matter.

It should be if they're deliberately starving their team; because once the fed player dies, their team gets steamrolled from being significantly behind in comparison, throwing the game in this snowballing meta.

A poor mark of sportsmanship, sure. All the other stuff? Report it.

Oleandervine10/28/2019, 8:17:46 PM1 votes

If she was being completely rude, report her. If she was clearing a huge wave of minions that was about to crash into a tower, and you weren't even near the lane yet and you're trying to call dibs... well, you need to just get over it.

Depends. It may be bad macro, but not punishable.

There are times when a fast wave clear is needed. Like clear a wave, rotate and defend the tower / inhib together.

Sometimes it can bad macro for the person behind to clear waves, especially for eve who should be fighting instead, cos she has an execute in her ult.

if the player had a mechanic like gangplank ult silver serpents or gaining more stats off farming infinite minions, no, but if not i don't think the player should be taking unless they are absolutely sure of what they are doing ( they want to sell boots for a 6th item and elixr)
