So I just played a game with a very toxic player...
My bot lane was doing very badly (I was support) and mid was a huge flamer for it. He was ahead, kept talking me down in particular, and just kept trying to make me feel like total garbage. I did mute him at one point, but I decided to unmute him after deciding what he types is hilarious. If you are like me, you take insults with a grain of salt. So what did I do? Continue the argument, causing more toxicity? I really just put nonchalant replies, showing how little I cared of the guy. Every time he kept insulting me, I just complimented everyone else (including the enemy team) that was doing good. I wasn't going to give this guy what he wanted. If only I screenshotted the after-game chat, he kept trying to call me trash over and over, and I just replied casually. And guess what happened? Because I was so nice, both the enemy team and most of my team went up and reported the guy who was toxic, got him punished, and honored me for not being toxic. The point I am trying to make here? Don't be toxic, be friendly, no matter how rude someone is. You will get rewarded for not being an ass in retaliation.
