It depends on which towers were still up to take. If you for some reason still had 3 outer towers that werent touched in the first 20 minutes of the game I would argue that the outermost towers would benefit more than baron to create map pressure.
i will say baron is important and not horrible to get when that kind of thing happens, especially if you already have minions pushing into the tower but his response was uncalled for. a "nah, get baron while we can" would have been plenty
but really one person could've stayed behind for tower and the 3 go to baron
If you are able to take the inhib, and rotate to expose the one bot, you can get baron in the time it takes your comrade to be back up tho, towers win games, baron is a dangerous coin toss lol
Depends on a few things:
If you have 3 champs who deal burst damage 
) you should baron. If you have attack speed champs who don't usually do % HP or true damage ( 
) it's better to get towers.
