ok so ive ran into some problems with this preseason. ive been told a million times that its all my fault and i should just get better. well here are my win rates for season 5 and then the preseason. now i know not as many games have been played but i will show you that how bad trolls have become this preseaon! and yes, i went through most of my match history (ranked only) from 6/7/15 till current (576 total games). preseason (November 11-Current) 49-82 37.4% win rate season 5 (post 5.16 juggernaut patch) 121-124 47.45% win rate season 5 (pre 5.16 juggernaut patch)(200 games) 105-95 52.5% win rate. now as you can see, yes ive had a little trouble adjusting to the juggernaut patch (and low elo people dont really know how to ban or how to play against juggernauts) now im now saying that im a great player and i believe that i should be in master or plat or anything like that. i do believe i should be high silver-low gold(s2-G5). all im saying is riot needs to do something about this. it is destroying the game for so many people.

Well I am not in your games, so I can't know if people are trolling or not. The preseason really fucked everything up and made a lot of changes for a lot of people. It could be that people aren't used to the changes yet. Of course there are always going to be people who will troll (going mid and then feeding the shit out of them) but that's going to happen regardless.

The good news is, what rank you are at the end of preseason doesn't really matter. Everyone will have to go through placements again. In general you should stay in relatively the same bracket you are in now.

People can troll you even without having chat. It's incredibly easy. I see it all the time.

Common Trolling Methods without Chatting:

  1. Spamming pings unnecessarily, or falsely using pings to make a player uncertain where the enemy actually is
  2. Using champ mechanics to prevent team from getting kills, or give the enemy kills (Blitz pull, Ali knock, Tahmn Bite, Anivia Frost wall, Bard Ult, and more)
  3. Preventing them from getting CS
  4. Making your team think you're going into a team fight, then back out. 75% chance this will get them killed. People use these 4 methods because it's pretty much guaranteed they will be undetected and never banned for this, unless the whole team is calling them out for doing it in chat.

I see this on a regular basis - mostly 1,3,4, but 2 is still there a lot. Yes, players can do this unintentionally, but there are a few cases where I'm 100% convinced they were doing it on purpose. Usually it's a player who is flaming from the start of the game then once 1-2 people mute them they start betraying their own team by doing shit on that list.
