This is practically the whole chat before I muted him. He starts off with that. I know I am wrong for some of the things I said too but like seriously? I afk'd that first bit until "Minions have spawned" announcement and he's SUPER butthurt. I went out of my way to remove names too because I know riot doesn't like IGN shaming :)

Do I deserve a report for "afking"? Or perhaps even the response I did? Whose more wrong here? Because I know we're both wrong because I flamed back. He even threatened me with a report like wut? LOL

Got him the next game and queue also and he persisted to engage flaming instantly again about "afk whore" haha. I'm not even mad about the little guy. Just think he needs some help xD I have one more SS of the next game just starting-ish kind of but that's not needed imo. If so lmk. I just want the communities thoughts of it lol.

You're both wrong. Just play the game, why do you need to fight with him while sitting in the spawn? It accomplishes nothing except making yourself look like a baby too. Just mute guys like that, finish the game, report them, and go on to your next game. There is no value in fighting in chat.

I gave a poor example with the ego part, my bad. I mean't that wanting to offend or punish the other person back, or like you said "put their ass back in place" comes from ego and acting out on it whenever you feel like is not excusable.

When I said "shitty" I meant people who provoke those situations in the first place. And yes, retaliating can be just as bad depending on how far you take it.
If they are acting like this and you want to punish them for it at the expense of your teammates then you re a fucking asshole and no better than the one who started it. ( I'm not talking about you here, I brought this up in relation to what I said about how similar behavior appears in ranked and has way more negative impact on the game ).

I would have hated to meet either of you in my game, aram is one thing but the fact this behavior is in ranked too is so unsettling. Why do you have to all chat and inform everyone that someone called you names or whatever? Why do you not realise noone wants to read that shit and its just supper annoying? Like I said, its just aram so at best its a mild annoyance and both of you can be muted. But in ranked things like that carry more weight cause they impair the team functioning and communication and just make people tilted.

If someone starts being a dick just mute them instead of trying to be a bigger one. And if you can't control yourself then at the very least dont type in all chat.

It doesnt matter who is more wrong. You could have been the bigger person and just ended the conversation right then and there. Was it right for the Galio to kept harassing you because you were afk? No, but that shouldnt give you a free pass to harass them as well.
