AFK losses
So you're climbing through your division in ranked. All is fairly well, you've made it to 98 LP (frustrating enough), and you're playing a match on a gamble knowing that if you win, you'll only gain 2 LP to get into series but if you lose, you'll lose about 20. You win lane and do well in game, but three of your teammates (everyone but your duo partner) disconnects from the game leaving you stuck in a 2v5. As the remake system has been implemented, you're sure that you aren't expected to carry this to victory between the two of you, and yet you are stuck with a big LP loss through no legitimate fault of your own.
It could just be me, but the remake option seems like a swing and a miss at addressing a serious issue. Only two players are required to vote yes for a remake to cancel the game, and it occurs after only three minutes of gameplay. Countless times I've seen the player who lagged out reconnect in time to cast a vote, only to see that 2/5 of the team members have voted for a remake that goes through against the majority. Meanwhile if someone disconnects halfway through the game, no action is taken on the system's part. Full credit is given to the team that was essentially given a free win, and there's no mercy for the team that already had to play with an afk.
To me, this system seems broken. I wouldn't say these games shouldn't count at all, because there is still a good amount of time spent on them. But I would propose that the LP gain/loss be cut in half or at least reduced in these situations. The leaver of course would still get the same penalty; this is for the rest of the players in the match. Anyone willing to give some feedback? Surely I can't be the only one frustrated by this...
