How do you know that they muted your ping and didn't just ignore it the old fashioned way? People who mute your pings already decided that they would rather not see your pings at all.
If you ping once or twice for a legitimate purpose (notifying MIA's, warning that your lane has disappeared and you think they're going into a specific area, etc...) no one mutes you. If you ping ten times in a row, people mute you.
So.... did you spam pings early on in the game to harass someone that got them to mute you?
glad you realized that ping harassment is annoying. People whom aren't toxic win more games for a reason.
People who mute pings will fall down the ladder. I have been climbing since they put the system in because I leave them on.
