Just curious, if you don't mind answering, why do you not want your border?

Perhaps some players have unreasonable expectations of another player with a gold (or higher) border.

Alternately, maybe he climbed to gold one-tricking a champion that got reworked? And he needs to practice other champs so he can once again play at the same level? --shrug--

I guess, I just don't quite get the mindset. I utterly embarrass my border every time I play top, but have never been rank shamed by a non-friend who didn't op.gg me. It's just a border. It's shiny and looks nice (except master). Plus next season you won't be able to see last seasons borders, so it's only for like, a month or so.
