"He's just a 12 year old" ------ What's YOUR kind of 12 year old?

First off, I am not a racist; this may just be a coincidence, or just a trait from the race.

Many times I've heard harassments using the phrase "12 year old". I do not understand why this is used, as the 12 year olds i used to hang around with were mature. However, when my 9 year old neighbor comes over to play minecraft or gta he brings a friend or two, and they just calmly play the game with no problems. They are Mexicans, but when they bring their American 11-12 year old friends over, it becomes problematic. "he blew up my house!" "give me that" "why did you do that!" etc etc. meanwhile the Mexican kid is like 'tf'.

Now I'm with my exactly 12 year old nephew and he usually just plays video games like most young kids do. He brings some friends over as well. No problems at all, and they are Mexicans. They formally play the game and help each other out with concepts of the game and such.

At first i was genuinely curious as to why people used "12 year old" as a way to harass others because the type of 12 year olds I know are mature.

So what's YOUR type of 12 year old?

In my book, a twelve year old is a being who has lived in the universe for 12 years.

I do find it funny, you distinguish Mexican from American

I mean if you're born in a country you are of that nationality, so my guess everyone your 9 year old neighbor plays with are Americans(why you invite young children into your home, is not a question for the forums) In addition trying to make this about race is pointless, how a child is brought up supersedes anything his racial origins can give him.

When I was 12, I was nowhere near as obnoxious as some of the people I see now on LoL, and I doubt they are actually 12 probably more like 15-18 with the maturity of a 10 year old. I don't think it's a race thing but US in general the younger generation is getting more and more annoying. Constantly using words like toxic/salty for any purpose and then flaming people just to get a reaction and call them salty, it's really asinine. It's so ironic when someone is throwing a temper tantrum all game and then starts calling people kids.. there's no point in trying to reason with those types.
