Jungler-hunting is such cancer

I can't be the only person out there that thinks intentionally hunting the other team's jungler is unsportsmanlike and frankly just cancerous. So many times, and usually by a foreign lee sin player, do I go to play jungle (my favorite and normally best role), and get absolutely fucked by being hunted. No, I don't mean counter-jungling, I mean the other player doesn't farm, doesn't try to push objectives, but just sits in bushes and waits for me in my jungle, to do nothing but kill me and take my mobs. He doesn't gank, he doesn't do his jungle, he sits in mine and nukes me as soon as I respawn and come back. No matter how many times I call out that hes gonna be there, my team doesn't help, then flames me for dying again when if I leave base, I'm gonna die. It's unsportsmanlike because he isn't forwarding the game in a productive way and is intentionally just trying to ruin the game for myself and others who have had this done to them. It's fucking absurd. I normally don't get upset at video games, but this shit has me unbelievably upset. There's no countering it if you're playing alone and you get flamed by your own team as well.

Dude, the game is all about denial of resources. There's no such thing as unsportsmanlike conduct through gameplay against the other team.

Know what's incredibly unfun? When I first blood the enemy top laner and then freeze the lane while standing behind their wave, so that I can get cs and they simply get locked out of the entire game. But you bet your ass I'm going to do something like that until forced back by the enemy jungler or a roam.

Aggressively counter-jungling is a valid strategy. It's on you and your team to ward entry points to your jungle, fall back to rescue the jungler when they're invaded, and deep-ward the enemy jungle to get a better sense of where they are.

By posting this in Player Behavior, you're suggesting that this sort of behavior be made illegal or punishable. That's ABSURD.

Why dont u ward around? Buy item 3711 instead of item 3715 item 3706 . Its neither cancerous nor unsportsmanlike. Its encouraged and effective tactic of protecting your teammates. Or start picking champions that can deal with invades.

I hate solo top Tryndamere, but it isn't reportable.

and this is why I don't JG.

Its a thankless job (you always get blamed when things go south)

there's a higher chance that other lanes will feed because I'm not in lane (my strength is in laning)

all the god damn mind games and counter JG/counter Gank bs

the champions to play aren't very fun (you are either a champ with a strong early game but who becomes useless past 20 mins or a scaling tank who is in danger of losing the game pre 20 mins if the other JG is remotely good)

...

And yes I agree. Counter-Jungling, invades... its dumb af.

He can't be in both sides of your jungle at once. If it's the very beginning of the game, you'll have a quick respawn and you can get some on the other side of your jg. If it's later in the game, ward more.

Using gameplay, not to demoralize or taunt, but to gain advantages in levels, gold and objectives, is the goal of the game.

The true warrior enters the arena with all his weapons at the ready. If you're starting at your red, but you and your team disrespected the opponents and did not fan out to the jungle entrances before the minions spawned, and did not ward before going to the lanes, then it is perfectly fine for them to invade and take your camps and your life. How can you disrespect your opponent and then call him unsportsmanlike?

Well the unfortunate thing is that it is a strategy that is actually pretty effective in winning. The jungler is kinda like the pillar that holds the team and supports them. If an enemy continually does as you say and camp you and then your team flames you, that is exactly their goal. A team that's tilted has trouble working together witch usually means game over. Also having complete control of enemies jg means that you have easier access to ganks and have an easier time claiming other objectives. Now your team should be willing to help you and team up and ward that place up to get him out, or at least help you secure the other side. Then again, your team is probably afraid of falling behind also or afraid of the situation turning worse because the whole enemy team ends up being there. At the end of the day I guess we just have to realize, we cant win them all.

So in that case, should wandering from lane to help your teammates win their lanes be considered unsportsmanlike?
