I feel like kids in low elo defend both trolling and inting too much

Maybe Im just that unlucky, but i feel like alot of kids at low elo defend both troll picks and people "having bad games" too much. Too many times recently Ive had someone defend Teemo mid, or MF support, where they are clearly filled and trolling (Thanks for making them lose 3 lp while I lose 17 btw Riot, and no I'm not assuming, I check these people out on OP.GG in champ select), and when I or someone else says something about it, everyones reaction is to instantly defend the pick. "Its not that bad" "Leave them alone" Or you point out they are a smurf trolling with no flash and LITERALLY HARD INTING each game, and everyone defedns them "We arent even in game yet" "Youre being toxic". I just dont understand how people defend this shit. The other day me and my team had to carry a 0-11 Irelia LITERALLY RUNNING IT DOWN. I understand that you have to carry trash teammates, but there is 2 main issues with that: 1. Teammates who are trollling and trying to lose, not wanting to be carried, and 2. Should I HAVE to carry this trolling inting garbage? Cause guess what? If everyone carried the garbage shit on their team, then the garbage climbs with them too. Thanks. Please find some way to reward players for carrying a 4v5 game. I dont care about having to carry kids willing to listen and be carried. But I'm sick of having to try to carry people intentionally trying to sabotage the game.

If you're flaming our team, I'm gonna tell you to stop doing so. This isn't a defense of a trolling or otherwise shitty teammate, but rather an attempt to make the best of a bad situation and avoid rewarding trolls. You flaming a troll accomplishes nothing, but if you shut up and avoid tilting the team, we may yet get through it.

And while this probably doesn't apply to you specifically, teammates flaming other teammates for perceived trolling are often just poorly informed about what's going on. They don't realize that they player is doing something that's new to the meta (Karthus jungle, perhaps, or some weird bot lane comp). I had a player once soft-int a ranked match that would have been an easy win simply because our GP had started Doran's Ring and the guy got pissed because "GP isn't an AP champ". GP managed to carry harder than the asshole fed, and we still won the match, but it was a lot harder than it had to be.

To be fair MF support has good matchups (HAHA poop on u zyra). But you are right. I cant stand low elo. It drives me nuts when Im just trying to enjoy a good ranked game and someone starts screaming in all chat blaming jg or supp or just being toxic to be toxic

Yeah, no. 99% of people who you think are going out of their way to intentionally troll your games are actually just having a bad game. I'm sure you weren't trying to int on your 0/6 sylas game ore your 1/6 ryze game, both games in which you contributed much less to your team in both damage % and kill participation than your irelia did in your match history(the irelia went 0/11/11 and outdamaged your ADC, I like how you didn't bring that up).

As for this particular point- honestly, if someone is filled and is playing a position they don't know, at least by bringing in a champion they are semi familiar with they have a better chance at succeeding. I'd much rather have a 400k mastery 70% winrate azir player playing azir top than having them first time say fiora. Besides, meta doesn't really mean anything until you get to the point where people can punish non-meta picks.

Well yeah, thats why we are low elo. Do whatever you think will be fun. Im not gettin paid to play and neither are you, so you might as well enjoy your free time. If you think off meta is more enjoyable than picking something meta, go for it. Its a fucking video game at the end of the day. So inconsequential. Winning or losing literally changes nothing about your life.

Now if we are talking about someone straight up inting, then yeah. Those kids are dumb if they defend that. Should be instant permaban because the only reason someone would do that is to intentionally piss people off. Whereas, accusations of trolling vary wildly. Ive seen some pretty out of left field accusations. Like what? He got outplayed earlier, and then made a stupid play from behind so hes "trolling"? Hes just a fucking kid playing a video game. Not a god damn mastermind playing like his life depends on not dying in game.

But may I ask, how would flaming these people make them play any better? If anything, you would just be tilting them even more, while securing yourself a chat restriction.

My suggestion is to offer them some advice, and praise them when they do well. There've been maybe three or four games this season where I see people say "I would int, but ___ is too kind and does not deserve the loss". While that's less than 1% of my 500 ranked games, that's still 80 LP saved.
